American Idol is wack now. They need to stop the series. Not that Simon and Paula are not on it anymore. The show is not worth watching. Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, and Carrie Underwood probably the only ones that made Idol the most money. Sorry to say but Ruben and Jordin did not sell as many records as expected.

Please check out Ruben's new CD, "Love Is". It just came out in 2009. I really like it. He makes me think of other R&B artists like Gerald Levert at times, Ray Charles at other times... The CD is ballad-heavy, but it is called "Love Is" for a reason. I think you will enjoy it.

i luv ruben and i do think he sounds a bit like luther but luther is obviously in a class of his own. ruben's voice is soft and sweet but mostly it's natural and he has a beautiful tone.

woah woah woah dont get me wrong, ruben has an amazingly soulful and talented voice, but i guarantee you there will never, ever be another performer like luther vandross, there just wont be. i mean what the man had like 50 hit singles over the course of 20 years. im 16 years old yet even i can name at least 10 luther songs off th top of my head. the word "legend" shouldn't be used loosely and luther vandross truly was a legend in every way imaginable. ruben would have a lon, long way to go
