Slang is commonplace in this show.

And wouldn't Sharon or his dad notice the static costume in the wash? Or recognize the gear when they see Static? Also, in part 2 did anyone find it weird that Virgil's black eye disappeared to be replaced by a bruise on the jaw? He either had an initiation fight or the artists didn't think a black eye was dinner appropriate.

when he was little he spent like 2 or 3 years in the hospital (no more explanation was given) my guess
