I loved the wii version >_> I got the wii and 360 version. The flaw of the 360 was arid sands was retarted as hell. And the night wasn't any better. Eggmanland..heh. The hardest level in my sonic life x: That level was badass. They would have did a better job tossing that crappy level up system to the side. All in all, both versions had flaws, but they also had perks. Spagonia and Shamar were better on the wii than 360. So meh.

This game sucks, the only redeeming factor was the night stages where I could pretend I was playing God of War, a GOOD game.

Speed and platforming is a terrible concept both in theory and in practice and the only reason the series is still alive is in a misplaced sense of nostalgia.

The Wii version is the only one I played, but the fact remains that the concept of speed coupled with platforming is a bad idea.

Yes, the studio has done clever things to dress it up, but at its core is a bad gameplay concept. Ristar was set to usurp the mantle of Sonic but Sega didn't have a chance to phase Sonic out and Ristar in because Sony came in and fucked everything up.

Also the cavalcade of neon woodland recolors doesn't help Sonic's case much.
