cute but for anyone who wants to do this... you dont have to use a sock... there are specially designed foam forms you can get a beauty supply store. they are very inexpensive and can match your hair color better. weither its Sally's or any local beauty supply store,.. check where they have bobby pins and such

I do this to my girls all the time works good for me too, damp hair 'sock bun' it (loads of sock bun and heatless curls tutorials on YT) then leave it over night n wen u wake up undo the bun and u get beautiful curls that last all day ! Simples!

Thats how we all did our hair in the military but I had a hair doughnut my mom bought in the early 90's. My daughter loves it when I do her hair this way. If you go to Claires they have a the hair doughnut for aroung 5 dollars. Its rolled mesh which you can unroll and cut down for the size you want. It works really well and you never have to wash and dry it to shrink it back up.

lol im a chola and i do the same hair do except i jus pull my hair all the way thro the sock and i come my hair all around it and put a hair tie to hold it down then i wrap the loose hair in a twist and around the bun then i cover it wit a bandana lol i kno im ghetto
