  • @revton3197 it's johnny cash orginally.

  • we all know its a nin song, but johnny did his own version of it and he did it wonderfuly

  • It's Johnny cash too. calm down

  • GREAT work man.

I watched another tutorial for the whole song, but the chorus was lacking, this saved it, thanks man ;)

  • This is how all short tutorials should be done, thanks a lot :)

  • psst. It's a Nine Inch Nails cover. Not a Johnny Cash song.

  • did i not know that...?

  • @revton3197 Its ia Johnny Cash song dude

  • the verse is just a progression of C, D, Am, (in guitar i believe.) but there's probably inversions and such, ill post it later

  • @Deedrav721 It's actually Am, F, C, G... not to be a douche or anything, just saying

  • oh i love you for putting this up. Very handy with the notes written on the screen. One of the most beautiful songs:)

  • yeah to me piano's all about inflection and how you play the notes, not necessarly what you play. the simplest notes can sound amazing if played with the right touch

  • I agree with that..its the same with singing, something simple can sound beautiful with the right phrasing..

  • sounds also like -coldplay-scientist?

  • yeah i can play that, its just 4 chords, the scientist is an old one, clocks by coldplay is nice too.

  • I wish I could play..such a gift to have. Someone asked me to cover the song Hurt, so I came on trying to learn this but am awful :-/

  • @SerensSongs that f chord is exactly the same in the scientist. if you haven't seen that music video you should check it out. all of coldplays videos are great!

  • you. are. awesome. ty!

  • could you send me the actual chords plz????

can you play the verse on piano, i know its usaully on gee-tar but still....???

    *hopefull eyes*

because trent reznor played it all on piano live ...

  • ill look into the verse, you can just google the chords, but theyll probablly be for guitar so they'll need to be inverted accordingly, ill get back to you later

  • the guitar plays in the verse and then the piano joins in the chorus. its actually a really easy song, the verse is just 4 chords too

  • Is there no other part? Is the verse just guitar?

  • thanks!

  • thank you

  • i didnt realize i was playing the piano part that slow. i had to slow down the song alot

  • Thanks that has really helped

    great video
