Tell me, Jondadon, is it better to stop over drinking alcohol? Or is it better to make sure to keep the sabbath a Saturday? I'm seeing a lot of this saturday sabbath thing, and my instincts tell me there are greater sins that a man needs to work on within himself than that. Christ will give us the means to stop all kinds of sinning, but trust me, he points to the most serious sins first! and then works on the remaining. A sataurday sabbath would most likely be the last.

The question asked is in limitation to a degree in sin. I will say that the smallest sins are the most dangerous because we belittle sin and think that a little sin is not as big as this or that act. All sin is hateful to God. We may think sin so little that we deceive ourselves and not overcome it.

God's word said Thou shalt not kill in drinking alcohol which is killing the body

Thats the time when we come in communion with God, where we are refreshed from all worldly affairs, having that blessed, sanctified and holy time with God. It is a personal date with God. There is nothing to overcome in that. If Sabbath is seen as a day of no work only, the whole purpose is defeated. It is a whole day with you and the one you love, Jesus

Now who in their right mind wants to miss that time?

God said, I want to share some time with you on this day. This day is blessed, sanctified and holy. And because it is blessed sanctified and holy, because He wants us to keep it, we too ought to be remember that we are blessed by His life, sanctified by His Spirit and Holy through the life of Christ.

The devil knows this and does something as simple as removing this significance of the day and say any day will do.

If the mark of the beast is NOT a microchip/tattoo, how would the economic system be enforced with out that? He has a point about the mark (or worship of the beast) being the contradiction of Gods 10 commandments, but how can that alone prevent one from buying or selling ?

Well the Bible talks of those who have the mark of the beast and those who do not have the mark of the beast. Those that do no have the mark are those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus and this means they have complete victory over sin. Those who have the mark is just the opposite but satan will put things as benefits for you to accept the mark. Thats why those who receive it will have the benefit of buying and selling....

Those who cannot buy and sell are those who have their full dependence on Jesus to protect them and thats having the faith of Jesus.

Now the Beast in Bible Prophecy is the papal system. So you then need to ask what is their mark? Their mark is changing the Sabbath to sunday in making the law of God of non effect. Now as time goes on and we see this planet more in terror, people will say that they need to get back to God and want a sunday law but this is against God. Those who accept sunday...

@thablackmarkit You're right. The beast will force people to take the mark in order to buy or sell, which will get them to worship him quickly because time is running out. The Ten commandments were given to humanity to show how impossible it is to keep them. Example, when Jesus says that "even if you hate your brother, you committ murder." Jesus says all have sinned, he gave his life to forgive our sins otherwise nobody would be saved. This guy is preaching "works". I'm hitting the reject knob.

This is the problem because one will take that verse and run with it. All have sinned yes and have fallen short of the glory of God but Jesus lived a life without sin and if we follow His example, we are keeping the law of God. His life was a perfect life and so He is our example.

The problem is when one has a preconceived idea. It is only through Christ that the life can live without sinning. It is a constant battle of dying to self and living in Christ..........

How can God say keep my law and man says it cannot be kept? That is the same accusation that satan has with man that they cannot live without falling under my control but if you have the FAITH that you can cease from sin THROUGH Christ then you are exercising faith otherwise your faith is dead as James 2 says

@Jondadon2006 It is about the fact that the holy spirit gives us the ability to keep Gods laws. It is about the fact that we love Jesus Christ, and therefore are able to keep his law through the power of the holy spirit that he gives us. You preach the 10 commandments, which is good. But you're putting way too emphais on a Saturday sabbath. Faith is a gift, we can not have it unless It is given to us through the holy spirit. It is faith that enables us to stop sinning.

My friend I can see what you are saying but we are talking about a subject. What is the subject? The subject is on Bible prophecy, the beast in Daniel 7 thinking to change times and laws. The subject is not whether we can keep God's commandments because like you said and I agree, its only through the power of God that we can do this and not of ourselves.
