  • Hi Sir JonnyMcBoingBoing, can I have a request, can you play next a kudyapi? The paradise's energetic musical instrument known as kudyapi, also a Philippine instrument like kubing, if you have one, please let me know, just reply to my comment. One of my greatest dreams is to have a collection of my own country's instruments. Thanks! =>

  • Hi Sir! I admire your videos of the so many kinds of jaw harps. I'd never taught my kubing is not really cool in the eyes of others.

  • You are excellent at this, I now want to learn myself.

  • i dont see where ne r for sale on your website

  • @jonnyMcBoingBoing is it hard to play?

  • your vidoes are very intresting......

  • This is called Kubing a musical instrument in the Southern Part of the Philippines.

  • where did u get those amazing instruments?

  • i had a matal jaw harp, and the twangy piece chipped my front tooth.

now i am ordering a bamboo one like this to keep me safe. plus it has a nice sound.

  • sounds like something massive attack would do...which is a bit strange considering these instruments are ancient..

  • interesting...:P

  • can you still make those sounds with the jaw harp without having the jaw harp in your mouth?

  • No, your mouth acts as a resonating chamber. The harp is really quiet if you pluck it without having it in your mouth.

  • well, your mouth kinda makes the harp way louder so....i dought it.

  • Thats a great harp! I've been lookign for a bamboo jaw harp (unused) for a short time now... I'm sure i'll find one... or make one...
