be careful with xboxheadphones, or any headphones that surround your ear. I played battlefield and nhl for 6 months straight, 6 hours a day with the headset on. i now have vertigo and dizziness. it will go away, but be careful seriously. it got so bad at one point i thought i ws going to die because my inner ear was imbalanced. i couldnt walk and i got really sick for a few days, all because of freakin headphones

you actually can adjust the volume of the game to hear chat better... just go to the volume settings in the actual game and turn it down

Wow, to all these comments im getting, im not really sure if i want to get it. I wanted it to be like a replacment mic for my mic that came with the xbox, but with more features. I really dont want to hear the chat on the tv and i dont want to hear BOTH the chat and tv in the headset. Since there is only one switch for both the chat and tv, its gunna be a hard time balencing them because i mostly play halo and gears of war. Is the X11 liek this too? cuz if not i might get that.

i recently purchased one of these headsets from asda lol so they even sell them there in some stores and was pleasantly suprised with the audio of the game as it is perfect. HOWEVER: like the video said the other players on xbox live seem to be much quieter and is not the best for chat it seems to work better if you are talking to someone who also has a turtle beach but overall it is a great product and worth the buy but make sure you keep an average headset in reach for chat function thanks :D

Uhh a few qustions.

1. Do you have to plug the Thing for the TV? or can you just use it as a mic. Im obviously gunna be using the TV sterio things on the mic but somtiems no, lol.

3. If you want the Mic part on the right side of your face, can you just flip it back or is it always gunna be on the left side of your face

4. Can the mic and the ear phones be used for PC fully like for example using it with skype? and if yes, How?

@zsocosmo the mic can be used for the right side of your face just not a flexible as the left side you just bend it over easy as that lol and to your first question you do not have to plug it in to the tv it can be used as a mic in general but i dont know about question three im sorry hope this helped

Note about using this with like iPods - The noise reduction doesn't really count when using it with something like an iPod on high volume as the Bass kick is very big due to the volume that the iPods kick out to the XLC's.

@Crozzer1997 Yes the actual sound quality is great and they can be used with iPods, I was doing that the other day, I put the sound on my ipod on full and when I put the XLC's on my head my head could've exploded. When they're not on your head and it's on full volume it sounds like proper speakers which is great!! You can have a party :) The bad thing about using them with an ipod if you're planning on taking them like outside is the cable length.

@Crozzer1997 yeah you can use em with ipods and computers for recording commentaries and stuff
