I just recently started keeping up with arm wrestling, what is up with some tables having the string and some just the pads, whats the deal, I'd rather see events with the pads, those strings are up too high.

Depends on the organization. This is the National Armwrestling League. I personally feel that the string is a better indicator of who has the clear advantage over someone who intentionally breaks grip to round a foul.

yes i actually talked to micheal about the postions he puts himself in... his elbow has been broken 40+ times. but his arm takes alot to brake now. been pulling for a long time and the refs know his limits... they wont let most pullers (especially new ones) in positions like that without stoping it. dont worry about mike breaking his arm... he knows his limits
