the command net localgroup administrators userhere /add does not work from a limited user. So if you are a limited user and are trying to make yourself an admin you wont succeed.

Most schools do not block WinZip files. Nor the stuff inside a WinZip File.

Batch files are blocked at my school. But this worked for me VIA a winzip file being used to hold the file, then running it WHILE INSIDE THE ZIP!

Just adding a small bit of info, some schools will also delete any files extracted from an archive, although the only place I've seen this is at my college, it is out there, just figured I'd throw this out there in case some of you didn't know.

It's blocked batch files, it also blocks some dlls although it seems somewhat random as to which dlls it deletes.

no doubt you tried this at a schools computer or on a remote computer

most computers at schools (at least the half decent ones) use a network boot. Some will have a firewall between the computers and the area in which they store the boot information.

Therefore you are trying to remote access a computer, their firewall blocked your sorry ass and you have no idea how to g et past their mediocre protection.

Yes, it is somewhat difficult to get past it if you are on a windows computer, windows wasn't designed to be a very versatile system, its like trying to cut down a tree with an expensive handsaw when you can get a free chainsaw instead (referring to the windows vs linux.)

Linux, in the hands of a knowledgeable user, is very suited to breaking those kinds of things.

I personally like slackware, but ubuntu is kinder to new users.

im pretty sure that to use these without administrator rights, you use them in regedit...

not positive thought, but you can go to start > run (or windowskey + r) > regedit >hkey_local_machine > software > microsoft > windows > run amd then make a new string value and put in C:\(wherever the .bat is) and then whenever someone logs on that is whatruns and that will make a new acc... thats all i can think of cuz im not pro with computers... im trying it out though :D

System error five means you are not a true administrator. You have to be a semi-administrator to become a full administrator. But if you use vista just right click and choose run as administrator. Then you won't get system error 5...

Yeah see there is this thing, it's called, you have to be on an admin account to do this, btw, the only way for that to happen is you have to trick your administrator into leaving you alone at the computer while they are logged on, then you do this code, and it will work then. There all the same way, but I have found out how you can open command prompt. Open up Notepad, if you don't have notepad lode a notepad file in a flash and then go to school and open it up hit New, and type in the following.

This doesn't work for a standard or limited account if you're trying to hack a computer. It only works if you run command prompt as Administrator (right-click>run as administrator>and you need an administrative password to run as admin).
