Hello beloved Bravo friends. This is George Harrison speaking. We Beatles have much joy that you have made us your favorite group in the world. We are very proud of our Bravo Otto and that we have so many friends in Germany. Especially when we have gained so many beautiful fans in good old Germany.Chump old Ringo asked me to say this in your name. Thank you very very much. With our entire heart and thank you very much. And all is good with our fans, and especially our Bravo readers. Yours, George.
BRAVO is here in "good old germany" a very famous youth magazine. It's about stars, music, fucking and "how to be cool, sexy and beloved". Almost all young germans read sometime the BRAVO. It exists since 1956 or so and for germans it's really funny to hear, that BRAVO-readers once thought the beatles were "in" because today the BRAVO promotes crap like Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers or- what an irony- Justin Bieber... Today, the BRAVO Otto only win Miley Cyrus, Bushido and US5... Crap, only crap.
@Chiochipsrs Well, magazines like that cover the current popular media. In the 1960's, The Beatles were what was happening. In fact, they're still very popular.
He's saying thank you for a German magazine award = Bravo Otto. You would have to be German to know what the Bravo magazine is that has sex educated generation after generation. too funny
haha he got a few things wrong... and sounded like he was raising his eyebrows at some of the ridiculous looking words he was having to read out, but still managed to be thoroughly smashing :)
The songs ''komm gib mir deine Hand'' und ''Sie liebt dich'' got translated by an artist from luxembourg... -ich meine jedenfalls gehört zu haben der käme aus Luxenburg was aber eig 'n bisschen komisch wär...
Wow , really good german! I'm so happy that I'm german, so I can hear his accent very good. Paul could also speak german, but if you heard this, click on 'sie liebt dich' and 'Komm, gib mir deine Hand'. their German is awesome!!!!!!
All of us Beatles are very happy about you having voted us for the most popular Beat-Band. We are very proud of our "Bravo-Otto" and that we do have so many friends in Germany, especially as we have so many good memories of "Good Ol' Germany".
John, Paul and Ringo asked me to tell you on their behalf: "Thank you very, very much - thank you with all our hearts and all the best to all of our fans, especially to all Bravo-readers.
In honor of Ringo's 70th, I hope U will check out my "RINGO"video. It's very retro with Beatleish touches & was done as a labor of love and with the utmost respect for the Fabs. My attempt at putting a little bit of the Beatle spirit out there for Beatle fans. It's also my tribute to George Harrison's slide playing as well as Ringo's unique style.
@maldicientin yeah migt be, because if he had know the words he was saying, he would not have mispronounced some of them ^^ but still it was very good... :D

We're very proud of our "BRAVO Otto" and that we have so many friends in Germany.Especially because we have so many great memories of good old germany. John,Paul & Ringo asked me to say thank you to you, thank you very very much to all our fans, especially all BRAVO-readers. Your George Harrison."
Nein, nur George konnte Deutsch. Ich bin auh aus Deutshcland. Dieser Dialekt ist zum Schreien lustig! :D Obwohl, ich glaube nicht dass ihr mich versteht, oder? Ach egal.
in the movie a hard days night i guess johns speaking also german when he is in the shower! and they sang i want to hold your hand and she loves you in german, so i guess every beatle could speak a bit=)

@zdan420 all of them understood German, but George's German was the best, he even spoke a bit German to Klaus Voorman later in the 80s, 90s. I saw a letter from George at an exhibition and his German was really good. Probably because he was the youngest und he learned German faster than the others.:)

They almost live there but just was a tour, made in two years and i think that The Beatles that we know really born in Germany cause they pulled his act in that clubs of Hamburg full of drunk guys and girls with "broken hearts" (i think that is a prostitute).
I like very much the "Live in Hamburgo" in his early years, and i guess that when they go to Germany and specially Hamburg in 1966 they fell like in home.

You can play it backwards if you like, you won't hear anything else than the songs being played backwards. I've been experimenting with things like that (with tape recorders, recording at different speeds, playing backwards etc) since I was a kid, so don't try that bullshit with me.
omg! awesome! its sounds even CUTER when HE does it, i saw an interview clip w/leo dicaprio speaking geraman + the sound was bad and he spoke quitely so i couldnt hear him. So looks like team harrison is winning the "who can speak german better, a beatle or jack dawson" test!

It's mostly the same songs as the Hard Days Night album and the EP with Matchbox, Long Tall Sally etc, plus Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand (I Want To Hold Your Hand in German).
