  • Y'all could have saved some gas and driven to Mt. Airy forest at West Fork...some excellent exposures of Ordovician rocks there...and a bit closer to home if home is Cincinnati.

  • Its a very strict policy to keep collecting sites private .A ten dollar membership gives you access to ALL past collecting sites with directions and photos (in archieves) .

  • Are these tempestites? They look more like turbidite flow deposits.

  • The ball and pillow shaped shale layers are documented in the Algeo and Brett field guide as caused by earthquakes and also by under sea landslides

  • Many of the thick broken rocks have great fossils but too dificult to chisel out.Too heavy to take home.

  • There where about 30 people there .I only filmed a few that I ran into .Its a big place.
