I love Gaborik as a player but that is alot of money for a guy who has trouble staying healthy. It'll be interesting to see how he does. I live 10 minutes from Nassau Coliseum so I go to alot of Devils-Isles games. There are obstructed view seats and the concourse is always clogged in between periods. Terrible arena. I've been to the Rock many many times. I love the arena and I love that I know have the ability to take the train. As a Rangers fan you have always had that luxury.

I've been to Ronkonkoma a few times. You are about an hour drive from MSG and 45 minutes from the Coliseum. That is kind of far. I'm spoiled. I'm 15 minutes from the Coliseum and 25 minutes from the Garden. Thats the worst part of being a Devils fan, it takes about an hour to get to the Rock from where I am. I get out of work at 530 and game time is 7 so it's kind of a rush to get there and not miss the start. I spend more time at the Garden and the Coliseum than I do the Rock.

No i never noticed that. I did notice that if you try to get food or go to the bathroom during intermission that nobody can move. They need bigger concourses. The Isles fans are tame now because the team stinks and they may move to KC. If they get a new arena and a good team then the Ranger-Isles games could get ugly on the ice and in the crowd once again. I was at the Rock when Marty broke the wins record and they happen to play the Hawks. Fun team to watch, very fast.
