Wonderful song and beautiful sounds from the midi. I love Germany. I stayed in Cochem on the Mosel river last year for a week. It was wonderful. I would love to live in Germany. It is so beautiful and I love the music.
@schmevin711 Thanks Kevin. It is one of the very typical songs of traditional folk music from Bavaria. It is a nice area too, where you were in Cochem (Mosel). Many tourists i met they liked a lot of places in Germany and meals too. Greetings to the USA! Dieter
@DieterLo1 Thanks Chris. It is always a challenge to play such songs, sometimes together with natural accordion and sometimes the accordion can be blocked and only the other intstruments can be played with the buttons of the ride and left accordion side. But to do so, it makes it more interesting if i do play several hours somewhere. Anyhow you know it as keyboard player even if the way we play seems different too to some extend and some is similiar too compared with keyboard. Greetings
@Orkide8 Hi Kirsten. I didn't know, but came to know 4 years ago. So, my accordion is a very normal accordion and afterwards they (LImex company) put some magnets under the buttons and cabels, electronic parts. If a button is pressed, it realizes notes and signals sent it to a sound box and plays that sound over the loudspeaker. In that case it is clarinet on the ride side and Styrian Helicon Bass and guitar sound on left side. And the natural accordion can be played same time or be blocked.
@IrenaMV Thanks Irena, yes i like to to things with whole heart or better not doing it. Same with music since some years. Before did not play accordion around for 30 years. But before played here or there, but not too much in such old days. But it is nice to co ordinate music with heart and landscapes, where the music came from. Many places i saw long time ago travelling with a little truck all over Germany. So nice to bring music and regions together and share it. Greetings to the USA! Dieter
@schnefsky Thanks Geoff, yes trying my best to show few areas going together with the music or title of the song. Times ago was driver and went to many of these areas with a little truck too and saw many places in Germany, at least 80 or 90 per cent of all the high ways. Travelling from North to South and East to the West. Glad you enjoyed the deep clarinet sound, played with the accordion buttons. Greetings to Canada! Dieter
@cadjunk Thanks Gwen. Glad you enjoyed it. In that case played with accordion buttons the sound of clarinet, which is typical for some songs from Bavaria. Greetings to the USA ! Dieter
@petermackett37 Hi Peter. 4 years ago i did not know anything about midi sounds. But than met someobdy, a sick man, he told me to use his accordion and it had such sounds. But he was so sick or mentally handicapped that he even did not know how to use it. But i became interested and started to infrom myself here and there. I also found out like you, that the Limex sounds had instruments, which sounded realistic. Would take time to go into details. It is difficult to say how many instruments.
@petermackett37 Peter, If i tell you any number of instruments within Limex would be wrong. There are couple of piano sounds for example and each sound you could change according you like it. I have over 50 different accordion sounds for example, may be near to 100. There are different brass instrument sounds. Even bird sound or wind and waves. And as far as i do know it can be connected with other sound systems too!!! Or could be connected with keyboards and use these sounds. Dieter
@petermackett37 I have a large list, where all instruments are listed, which i can directly use. But there are other sounds systems , which could be connected too. If i do play music in public, sometimes i do use between 10 and 20 different instruments, but don't know if we can say "no limit"? There are some experts knowing more and lot of new technology brought lot of news. Okay, hope could give you at least some ideas. Greetings to Britain! Dieter
@celtonburn Obrigado Celton. Que era uma canção Landler da Baviera. Eu gosto dessas músicas muito. Eles se encaixam bem com os Alpes e as belas paisagens da Baviera. Saudações para o Brasil! Dieter
