@Artycelebrities People practice karate using Katas or forms, not just against heavy bags. Seishin73 you tube channel shows the forms very well. Start with the ones that have Heian in the name, then bassai, tekki shodan, then Kanku-dai. Karatecosaintmarg shows videos of how to use the moves in the kata in real life. You'll be amazed !!
1.kung fu isnt better all martial arts have equal value it is an opinun and its not karate it kenpo 4.0 the difference between that and jeff speakmans 5.0 kenpo is that 5.0 involves a mix between kenpo and mma fighting and used for self defence and if you guys really wanna learn a martial art go take a class
@TheCouzinz i wont say Wushu is in fact the best martial art, it all depends on the individual with their understanding and skill. however, Wushu gives you a better workout and wider range of skill. its the only martial art i know of that actively trains students in gymnast maneuvers as well as martial applications. this allows you with training to combine the two and eventually give you better ability to recover or escape from opponents and counter them in return.
Hi, I have been practicing my kicks and I think I'm going nowhere. I'm not sure if my force is strong enough. I have no punching bag or anything I could practice on. How can I know if my kicks are getting any better or not?

@skaterboii882 do some medititating to help with the fustration, then work on your focus, practice makes perfect, when you think about it, even black belts had these problems, its a challenge and your determination and will power to succeed will help you through it.
Try and get rid of all the anger before you start, or use the anger to your advantage. Me, when I get mad, I always picture what or who made me mad to be right in front of me when I do this. You can try that if you want.

for balance try kicking with one leg without putting it down or punching and blocking on one leg. a balancing beam we made one for my students it is great

Judo is for self-defence - it's called 'the gentle way' for a reason. Not for unfair fights - in which case YOU would become the attacker who deserved to be floored.
i remember i took a tawekwondoe first time i hated it second time i enjoyed it but my mom didnt get me a uniform so i couldnt come and now i wana do martial arts again and actualy do it and not quit
i had learned karate up to yellow belt level then i stopped, i felt that i am not fit to karate, my intructor said, i need to do sports first to help me fit in karate.

hey i know your a black belt and all but martial artist to martial artist when your in your horse riding stance your arms are too low they need to be positioned higher around your chest height so you can place more power behind your strike please dont take this offensively i know your a higher belt than i am just try and keep that in mind

@ENGLISHMOVIESFULL History lesson time shortened! Karate originates from Okinawa The country before it was invaded and taken by Japan. Okinawa always did trades with China and between each trade they would trade martial art skills and teach one another techniques. In a sense Kung-Fu helped form the groundwork for Okinawa Style Martial arts (Can't remember it's original name). When Japan and the Samurai took over they renamed it to Karate to be more Japan friendly in a way.

@moetjewa451 Well, so far, after over 40 years of punching with my arm fully extended, I have yet to break my arm (or anything else in training). However, beginners should keep a tight fist, which tightens the muscles of the forearm up past the elbow, strengthening it. @corvanjer Thanx for pointing this out. Yes, hyperextending ANY joint can be anything from just painful to being permanent damage. That's why I again stress a tight hand to do any hand move: block, punch, chop, etc. One of the easiest examples is the first move taught in very traditional schools--the low block. If done with power but no control, hyperextension is almost guaranteed,therefore, is always taught slowly and with emphasis on a tight fist. "Easy does it "until you have stronger joints.

@logamemaster karate is a great martial art to learn just be warned do not use it to start fights only to defend your self as mister miagi said in karate kid 1,2,3,4 fighting isn't good for anyone somebody will always get hurt
Hey, thanks for uploading this video. I'm a brown belt white soon to be brown belt black in kickboxing. I used to learn a small bit of karate. @boy29girl 3 ways: 1- you don't let them in the first place, 2- you KO them, and 3- you pull theirs and go 1,2,3 let go! As that is how hair pulling works

If you do learn any kind of marshal arts you must practice your strikes an blocks everyday. The more you practice the foster you become and you will also become more stretchable. Just like if your walking home from where an someone is massing you and put you into a situation that you don't want to be in, your body will get itself ready for a fight if you like or not.

1 lift your knee, 2 kick, 3 bring your knee back, 4 put your foot down. It's easy to think of it like dance move 1,2,3,4.

uhm sir, is this really the first thing that should be learnd? because when i was in my kindergarden i'm practicing karate, and my master is teaching us to do some stretching to improve our flexibility and the height of our kicks. like splitting, doing some hindu push ups.

@logamemaster karate is a great martial art to learn just be warned do not use it to start fights only to defend your self as mister miagi said in karate kid 1,2,3,4 fighting isn't good for anyone somebody will always get hurt

Hey, thanks for uploading this video. I'm a brown belt white soon to be brown belt black in kickboxing. I used to learn a small bit of karate. Now its boxing, kickboxing and tai twon doe (sometimes tai) and I kinda missed karate, so again, thanks for uploading this video dude, I will be practicing these moves and enjoying them while learning. :D

If you do learn any kind of marshal arts you must practice your strikes an blocks everyday. The more you practice the foster you become and you will also become more stretchable. Just like if your walking home from where an someone is massing you and put you into a situation that you don't want to be in, your body will get itself ready for a fight if you like or not.
