Thanks for the info, but I'm confused about mapping the keys. Can you attach a file with your working mame version and config? I have the rom and I'm guessing that should be all I need?

Hi dirkdex, there are two problems: I also reconfigured MAME so the mapped keys aren't the default ones (I couldn't get special keys to work), and standard MAME doesn't work with FAAST, you need to patch it to disable raw DirectInput or use AutoHotKeys to remap each key to itself.
