  • This is great! I will have to show my daughter. She's getting all psyched for St. Pat's coming up. She's getting her Leprechaun traps ready!

  • @Timeforscrappin HA!!! I hope she catches some!! Tell her they like chocolate coins, at least my Leprechaun does :) I used your kit for this too.

  • @roxyfur

don't get me started on my daughter and gold coins...and Pot's O' Gold...

I picked her up from school one day and she had a fit because I wouldn't take her to Ireland to kiss the Blarney stone!

  • @Timeforscrappin are you kidding?!?! That is hilarious!! I love it when kids think that way, you must laugh all the time ;)

  • Such a fun and beautiful project

  • LOve the calendar !!

  • Love the darkroom door stamps and I love your mini! This is so cute, I'm going to have to start working on mine again, what great ideas you have in there. Those stamps look so much like old ephemera, and did you use chalks and fixative on those? They are absolutely beautiful Roxy. I can hardly wait to work on mine again. Thanks so much for sharing!

  • @apurplelily1 nope! I just used my blending tool and Distress inks to colorize the stamped image. so simple!!

  • I just love this Rox! It is awesome! I bought a couple of these albums from Two Peas also, I have to put them to use!

  • @drummrzgirl who is this?

    BWAAA

  • Very pretty Roxy. I bought the smaller ones to make a calendar too. I just love them. TFS!

  • @LiveLoveScrap I hoarded them until I thought of this idea for my honey ;) Can't wait to see what you do with it!!

  • In other words.....two peas still has it in stock! Run out and get some~enabler alert! LOL! Thanks for the tip Roxy! You crack me up! I too am so excited Bluemoon has those stamps. The project is great.....made better by the stories behind it. TFS, Brigitte

  • Oh Roxy, this is just the most wonderful mini calendar ever! I had to watch twice to see all the details. I almost died laughing when you had the little side note about trying to pass off a pumpkin pie as a birthday cake.....that is just hysterical! I think you need to write a book....I think I may have hinted at that before! I'd by it in a heartbeat! This is a treasure....BTW....I'm Irish, too! With a name like Maureen you might have guessed that! Insert a smile!

  • @TheNannybee11 hee! Well picture me, 7 years old, my mom saying, I'm sorry, Honey, I didn't have time to make your Birthday cake and pumpkin pie and get the bird done." It damaged me for life. :)

  • @roxyfur Hey, Roxy! I'm laughing...you are the least "damaged" person I know! Too funny! I will never look at Pumpkin Pie the same again! This better be in one of the chapters in your book. By the way, my 85 year old Irish Dad recently took his very first trip to Ireland. My nephew's company is based in Dublin and he treated my Dad to a trip with him. He had such a wonderful time! My nephew adores him and we so loved that he could go to see his heritage!

  • @TheNannybee11 How wonderful! I bet it was the trip of a lifetime for your dad and what a great guy your nephew must be!! I can't wait to see your mini on his trip ;)

  • What a wonderful gift! I get my mother a calendar every year to put by the phone.

Having the calendar upright would be so much nicer. However, the calendar I give her is a daily calendar, not a month by month. I don't think I have it in me to make a daily calendar -- well, six days a week since Sat/Sun is combined. Could you imagine? Thanks tons for sharing this! ~Dera

  • @DeraLynnD Even a weekly would be a lot! Maybe you could add a fold out calendar?

  • So cute. I got your message...hubby should get it right away. He is lucky to have ya! thanks for sharing your mini, so cute.

  • Very cool mini. Love the stamps and that you included shammrocks and other Irish elements without it looking like St. Patricks Day.

  • How awesome Roxy, Love this calendar mini. I love those stamps also. Your scrubby is a lucky guy.

  • extremely nice Roxy!!!

  • Way cool! I see the vintage St. Patrick's Day post card I sent got a place of honor.

    *Big Cheezy Grin* Sharon :D

  • @NJGardengirl1961 and I totally forgot to mention you! you notice I used a copy ;)

  • I totally LOVE this, I too have the video of the album for the little girl saved. I am in the process of making a larger album and two minis for my husband, mother in law and sister in law. In June they took my husbands nanny (grandmother's) ashes back to Ireland where my MIL was born and lived before coming to America when she was 3. I told my hsuband save anything and everything no matter how crazy it seems....lol. I'm so excited and I love that paper line also, great ideas for me to begin

  • @CandisRoss Oh how cool, about your hubby saving everything. I am dying to get my hands on some Irish lace to add to this. I had some but of course it's MIA

  • Very nice Roxy! I love it! What a lucky guy. My poor scrubby..... never made him anything yet! tfs...

  • Really Cute Mini Roxy!!

  • Wow, great job Roxy...I envy all those creative brain cells!(g)

  • Love it Roxy...thx for sharing!

    Smiles, Jeannie

  • So nice and useful, and it seems sturdy like you could change the pages each yr.

  • What a Great idea for a Calendar ... love the effect of the cinch holes with the ribbons tied through, also love the row of rickety houses, great embelishments, nice papers and cute dog :-) x

  • oh this is so beautiful!! TFS
