  • awww man i love this group, i used to like the lead singer a lot, she was so sexxxy lol, they had another hit to but don't remember the name, i think it coulda been a ballad, oh how i miss the 90's

  • I used to play this song to death in the house in the car. Loved watching the video. thanks for the memories ladies.

    Kurt Evans

  • damn i loved this back then

  • I remember them on Soul Train doing this song. This was my jam!

  • In the background, where is that Scenic View???

  • Last time I ran into Vivian (the one wearing the red boots) she was performing with Vegas lounge groups plus she does a Tina Turner tribute act . She's definitely a cut or two above the average lounge act.

  • @1962groove VIVIAN WAS MY FAVORITE SHE REMINDS ME OF THE FIRST AUNT VIV FROM THE FRESH PRINCE.........................

  • i think i remember this, i just happen 2 see them on an old re-run of Soul Train on Centric. It was a cute song.

  • I was about 9 or 10 when this came out, but I remember this song so well. No weaves or silicons back then. Just real beauties....

  • @Lazzygyrl THIS SONG IS SO HOT AS WELL AS THE GIRLS WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THEM,THIS REALLY REMINDS ME OF SONGS FROM THE 86 JANET JACKSN CONTROL ALBUM I WAS LIKE 7 WHEN THIS CAME OUT IN 87 A VERY SEXY YR FOR TRENDS AND MUSIC GIVES ME TINGLES AND LOVELY THOUGHTS OF CHILDHOOD YRS 80S FOREVA................

  • I love this song and group I was 12yo when it came out its almost impossible to find the cd or tape anymore had to buy vinyl and convert to mp3

  • Thank God for youtube. I had almost forgotten about this video. Thanks for posting it!

  • Love this song my friend mom used to sing this to us ! and I always remembered it can someone help me find this cd or LP please! Lace rocked! alot of people dont know about them

  • I love this song. I was 12 at the time. Still got the CD.

  • thanks really haven't heard this or found the video anywhere else

  • Where are they now?

  • They're all still doing their own music projects. Lisa (the lead singer on this song) released a solo album about 10 years ago, and Kathy sings with a Supremes cover group.

  • WOW! I can't believe it! I used to LOVE this song. I think I was 10 or 11yrs old when this came out. I would do all those moves. Shake it girls!

  • The one in yellow, WOW. She looks like a hot super sexy little bumble bee. YUMMY!

That white guy SO doesn't belong in the this great vid. I can't hear a guitar in the song and he is laying the "pretend guitarist" act a little too thick. Where did they hire him from...craigslist? :)

    Great vid, thanks!

  • No Craigslist back then, if I remember correctly.

  • You are correct. There was no craigslist back then. It was a subtle joke on my part hence the smiley face in the comment.

  • LOL!!! I didn't think I was that out of the loop LOL!! I loved this song and then they just disappeared.

  • Yeah, I wish they had more hits also. I still find that guitar player to be over acting a little bit. I think he is chopping firewood with that guitar at one point.

  • It was the 80s and some of those videos were over the top. I think they could've been EnVogue before there was an EnVogue. They were really good.

  • Their second album also had some really nice tunes. Check my channel for a few more Lace vids!

  • @retrorhythms

Thanks for the info. I miss all that good music from that period. This was my jam!!! Got my 45 in the attic somewhere.

  • Love the 45 format! I found one of their single "Still in Love" (from this same album) with a nice picture sleeve, a couple of years back.

  • I ain't never scared so i took the liberty on posting that joint up myself, an hour ago! Just please abbreviate when you leave comments though.

  • vickimiles, that episode just came on today! I had forgotten all about this group.

  • I forgot all about this group and this song. I just saw them on "The Best of Soul Train." I used to LOOOOVE this song!!!

  • Damn man!!!You just took me back to 11 years old when I still lived in the PJs. I never forgot this song or video. It even looks like you got the clip from Video Soul based on the font. I can't wait to show my sister this clip since I can't find the album or single anywhere.

  • Did Klymaxx,s Bernadett produce this group

  • No, you're thinking of Madam X, Lionel Job and Preston Glass produced this song which is hotter than all hell!!!!

  • where did you find this video man the memories!!!

  • Oh man, I've been waiting for someone to post this one. Awesome song, GREAT BASS line, cool dance moves and I had such a crush on the one in yellow outfit.

I taped this vid when it came out years ago and wore it out. I have their cd on now.
