I have a set of cards with these images that came with my DVD, but since these videos came out before the DVD release, I was wondering how/where you got them all for each video?
@1310piggyful Ofcourse Elize is in pain. D: She really loved Marchen.
Back when she was human, he was all she had in her depressing and screwed up life. (Hence why she's obsessed with revenge.) He was both a son and little brother to her. ;^; (The details of their death can be heard in the Ido Album if you haven't heard it yet. May I recommend the LIVE concert?)
Her soul is lost in the dark; and now that Marchen found the light. It means she's going to be all alone again.. It's soul crushing...
@VileVava So what's the whole story about? even though i listened and read some translation video but i don't quite get what the whole story is about...
@Coldiice Well basically, Marchen and Elize are helping "other people" get their revenges on those who wronged them. Because Marchen and Elize were wronged while they were alive... Elize in particular. @w@"
For the most part, they're helping people from modern day Fairy-tales. (Though some of these are quite rare, only had one friend who knew of Bluebeard before seeing this. Said it was a childhood favorite of his.)
Marchen himself seems to actually be comprised of two souls .. Dx" Not sure.
It's really sad when you think that Elisabeth loved him in Ido he itaru Mori he itaru Ido and now she is crucified just because she doesn't want to marry. WHY CANT HER ARROGANT BROTHER/FATHER SEE THAT SHE STILL OBVIOUSLY LOVES MAR!
This song is so beautiful ; w ; I love singing it, and there is no time in which I don't cry while I'm singing ; w ; <- thing that doesn't let me finish xD I always "die" in the part when Elizabeth sings in the end
@kronokross no no... but since he abandoned his search for revenge, i understand that he sort of ended her, because that was her reason for existence.... that make sense? haha probably not
@kronokross Elize existed to help Marchen with revenge. But Marchen is breaking out the "contract," so Elize does not have a reason to exist, which means her death.
@princesskendra17 Sorry, I made a spelling error. It's Elise. Elise is a doll that was with Marchen when he was reborn. She is a doll of impulse who tempts Marchen to help other people to fulfill their revenge.
Also, Elise was born from a doll that Elisabeth gave to Marchen when they were kid. I heard Marchen's mother, Therese, she implants her spirit into Elise to fulfill her revenge for killing her son and burning her to death.
Kurobara-sama! I knew that Haritsuke no Seijo should be somehow special because it is Elisabeth's song, but I never expected for it to be this heartbreakingly beautiful! I really loved this one! It's the best so far from all the Uta-himes! Kudos to you Kurobara-sama!
@HazyDreamerNeko if you look in the side bar, there's a video (probably from nico nico) for this song (the one uploaded by Acchansubs5) You can see an interpretation of what the artist thought happened in the end
I've been wanting to read the translation for this song since the time I first heard it! I can't believe I really have read it now! T^T man I'm so happy!!! Thank you so much!
I had problems reading in the end thou since my tears coverd most of my vision ^^; this must be one of the best songs by Sound Horizon!!
Wow, I didn't expect this one to be different, though I might have if I'd listened to Märchen before these videos. So is Elize the dark side of Elisabeth or something? Aah, I have chills! :D
@GreatGoatRebellion Elize is Therese von Ludowing, the so-called witch of the forest. And they were both "reborn" as Märchen and Elize by "Ido" (The Well and so much more).

I don't know why, but for me, the way Elise goes all rage (?) in the end of the song sounds like she was really in pain ;w; Poor Elise...

What genre matches the song from 0:42 - 1:36? I really like this part.
Webbuu 10 months ago
@Webbuu I really like this part too, especially the strumming part. I can think of folk and jazz but there's classical feel to it as well.

I'm confused. Did Mar kill Elize? Or did I miss something...?
kronokross 10 months ago
@kronokross Well, I'm not sure he could kill her cause she's not really alive...
But I think he shut her off; forced her into the "light" par say..

Please continue, your work is amazing and so helpful!
If you have time, you should do the "Ido" single too, there's a translation of it on sh-kingdom(dot)net/ido-lyrics-t384(dot)html

Oh, I get it. Thanks for explaining, I tried to understand as much as I could from the preview single, but I didn't get much. xD;;
Do you know if there's a connection between Elize and Elisabeth, though?
GreatGoatRebellion 11 months ago
@GreatGoatRebellion Well of course there is, as you can just guess from their looks.
I can't tell so much yet, because there is one more song to come and that may explain everything.
The Key is Märchen and Märchen is Ido. :D (Don't think your dumb if you don't get it, many people don't. Takes a while xD)
CutDorothy 11 months ago
@GreatGoatRebellion
Elisabeth used to own Elize. She was the doll that she gave to März in "Kono Semai Torikago no Naka De" in her stead.
