Im not even COGIC, lol, but he transcended beyond denominational lines and touched millions from lil ole Memphis. A kat frum his church uploaded his last sermon yesterday, its on my page, where he preached from his chair cus he was too weak to stand.....I cried again, it was too much to take man. I know I'm sounding like a punk rite now, but I loved Bishop, so I'll be that. lol

Im a UHC minister man, and I feel the exact same way you do. Noone could tell a story like this man, so effortlessly and yet so powerful. I would be sitting on my couch in college a decade ago, watching his broadcast, next thing I know I was airborne, and when I landed, I was running around my apartment shouting and screaming and sometimes even speaking in tongues! No other preacher evoked such emotion, and stireed up my Holy Ghost, like Bishop.

UHC is also the OLDEST black american, pentecostal denomination. It's oldest church (the Mother Church) is Providence United Holy Church, Raleigh, NC, founded in 1882! So, we were Sanctfied and Filled with the Holy Ghost long before Azusa even had it's first street sign posted!

I joined a baptist church in raleigh 2yrs ago...but one thing is certain, I'll continue to fellowship with the UHCA...I've always enjoyed myself...when is the next International and Southern District Convocation?
