I actually used the trick you used to jump across the large body of water in the room with the turrets and the cube. It was a lot easier than the way I was trying before.

One big optimization is around the :49 mark - don't shoot two new portals there. Instead, make use of the outside portal that you fell through before.

The way health regenerates in Portal is weird. I agree I should have died, and I don't know why I didn't. Anyway, this run is highly obsolete due to new strategies that have been developed that completely break most of the game.

A very impressive run. At 00:28 when you place the portal on the angled door, instead of running back to the room with the button you can make it to the platform that's behind and below you in the turret room with out being shot to death. You'll get hit but if the turrets weren't scanning when you run out they won't have enough time to shoot you much before you catapult across the room. That could shave a few seconds off your run.

Wow, most of that was the same as what I did except for the giant room where you get the cube. My way was much more complicated and involved using one of the "vital testing apparatuses" to take out a turret. Your way is much easier.

Hey man, good job on the run. To everyone that thinks he has godmode on, the screen would not flash red when he takes hits. And it is possible to block most of the bullets with the box, you just have to get used to positioning.

There's enough time between the periods where I get hit by the SGs for my health to regenerate enough. If you haven't tested to see how health regeneration works in the game, it's probably worth trying out.

there's a faster way fir the turret room.

u leave the portal u jumped into to fling across the room and and when u get your cube just make a portal at the bottom plat. and junp with your cube ^^

There's a lot to consider when planning a faster route. While technically, this could be a faster way, it would require a lot of maneuvering. I tested it out, and I was actually slower. A very technical player might be able to pull off some crazy move like dropping the cube in the air, firing a portal, and then grabbing it again to in crease speed, though. I'd like to see someone do it. In long run, that strategy may just end up taking just as much time as what I'm doing now.
