  • dude you gotta redo this again. If youve got better equipment now instead of playing it through your ipod haha I live in cupertino i didnt realize so many people have iphones

  • Great guitarplay and sound.

    Thank you for posting.

  • Nice one man... the sound is good and smooth :)

  • the guy below me is a top wank but he has a point, get ur daddy out the house and turn the shit up and play like ur pet hamsters life depended on it (all this being given) and you should hear some results, all this aside u are me and what i do is like what u do,

  • I like your playing but your rushing the beat too much. too worried about hitting all the notes right, u have too feel the music more. I was the same way. I stopped playing like people and learned to listen to the music and myself more. be original.

  • You've got the essence: Great feeling...

  • The part of the lead you play usually starts right where your playback ends.

    I assume you realize ;).

If anyone wants to learn the Peter green version i recommend the lick library dvd about him.

To the advanced player that is, if you aren't the dvd might be overwhelming unless you put a LOT of effort in because some things are just taken for granted.

On the other hand you probably have to buy the tabs instead of or in addition to the DVD anyway or write them yourself from the video.

  • sound is very perfect

  • what pick up uses?

  • bareknukle pg blue

  • Good job man! What are the first notes in that chord at the beginning of the song. I think i might have it right but im not very sure.

  • like a dm but higher up - 14th fret on g string, 15th on d string, 13th on e string

  • Thanks man. I was playing a dminor but instead i was just barring first three strings on 10th fret but that sounded too low so i barred the first three again an octave higher on the 22th fret but that sounded to high. Thanks

  • Sorry, but you're a constantly too slow...

    But great guitar sound though!

  • really? Seems to start in time and end in time to me, but maybe your right? anyway thanks for the comment

  • Yep, he's right...

  • Sounds great! Nice job!

  • Great job John...just a tad too much reverb IMO. But the playing is killer....a little tentative. But the notes are correct and the vibrato is real nice. Green, even when he's playing a delicate piece, plays very strong and confident. You've got to channel it from your heart and let it fly!!!

  • cheers dan - yeah your right is is a little tentative - this was only just after i'd discovered fleetwood mac and greeny, and the first song I tackled, but I think i play stronger and more confidently these days...

  • I think you're les paul is the same as mine :P

  • love it boi!

  • You know where to find the solo? Usualy I improvisize everything, but there are some sweet licks in this solo. Can`t find it anywhere. Oh by the way, great cover. five stars

  • The original and best version - you nailed it

  • What kind of reverb are you using?

    love and peace

  • it was a trex room mate reverb pedal

  • what amp are you using?

  • it was a ceriatone marshall 1974x clone into celestion alnico blues

  • Well, we are gonna have to meet when i make my trip to england

  • yeah let me know - always up for a jam!!

  • nice playing man, where are from

  • cheers I'm from south west england

  • It is absolutely amazing... You've got a talent!

  • thanks!!

  • Excellent.Thats a beautiful les paul by the way.

  • cheers!!

  • its a les paul standard?

  • No, its a 2003 les paul classic. It was an exceptionally good guitar to start with so I decided to do some upgrades. The truss rod cover is like a 59 standard, the pots are CTS 500k, the caps are 0.022 hovland musicaps, the tailpiece is a aluminium one with tonepros locking studs and the pickups are bareknuckle pg blues. Is the more recent videos since this clip the caps have been chanced to 1960 0.22 sprague black beauties, and the guitar has been set up and plecked by charlie chandler

  • i meant 0.022 black beauties. and its got a bone nut too if your interested

  • your are realy good........can u give me the tabs or where u got it from

  • hi....cheers for the compliment...i couldn't find any decent tabs so had to learn it buy ear...its not exactly like on the record - its bits from the live version and studio combined

  • hey man, what kind of amp are you playin through? is it a 1974x? i searched for it and your video came up, but no text about it.

  • Sweet! Not alot of people know about the Green mod.Rock on 'bro.

  • Ruler!!! Did you do the Peter Green mod to your "Paul" sounds great. Check out the modification he did to his "Paul's". You can see it all over YouTube. You rock1

  • yeah...i've done lots of mods to the guitar......aluminium tailpiece, .022 caps, 500k pots and bareknuckle pg blues pickups (wound permenately out of phase)

  • country version of black magic woman?

  • i'm not quite sure what you mean...this is the original fleetwood mac/peter green version

  • really like your tone and great playing (in my opinion no one else plays the peter green version as good as that on here!!)....beautiful guitar too

  • Nice tone! What's the reverb?

  • its a trex roomate tube reverb pedal
