the U.S. now must concentrate not on getting back the jobs lost to china, let them have the garment worker and plastic parts assembly jobs, the mantra of the decade for america is not to take back jobs lost but to create new ones. i`m not suggesting everyone to be a white collar engineer, but the U.S. needs to base it´s manufacturing jobs around the "cutting edge" kind of products. americans are dynamic and eager, they can adjust to new standarts and will happily and proudly learn how to do it.

chinese have observed western consumer and producer markets and have learnt the elaborate business lingo to entice, of course the west is to blame for taking advantage of it because quite frankly, no single investor can tell me that do or did not know who china actually manages to mass produce at low cost, with enormous profit margins in sight it was just that they decided to turn a blind eye to it, and ignored the mid term effects that outsourcing actually brings with it

china is , even if some investors never get tired of suggesting it, NO free market economy, it is central owned and directed, the difference between the chines communist and say the russians in the soviet union is that the chinese leaders have adopted and implemented capitalistic tools which mainly is that they understood that they can offer to the west something a large numbers to make their profits surge, namely tons of people and cheap labor which they can push around as they please.
