A good book that proves the Russians were one of the greatest contributers to Allied victory is 'Stalingrad' by Antony Beevor which tells how the Russians broke out of their encirclement in the Caldera and begin to advance rapidly towards Germany. Don't say I'm pro Russian, I'm not Russian and what Stalin and the NKVD did to Russia was terrible. Finally people should stop boasting of how their country won WW2. No one country won it alone, there were many different factors.

I suppose this makes me look anti-American, which I'm not, but I do really hate the thinks stupid people write on Youtube. The Americans were a big help, especially in the Pacific, but like THthefirst said most Americans believe they won the war. Most modern day historians wouldn't agree and say that in Europe the Americans joining the Allies only helped speed things up and reduce the casualties of other Allied countries. On the other they hand, they did tip the scales in the Pacific.
