  • @tuckermcgaw the tree of WOE

  • The tree of whoah!

  • you killed my mud er you killed my father you killed, my peepal

  • And Darth Vader yeah?

  • these old special effects are cool

  • I feel certain the version you have uploaded shows the censored ending, where Jones appears as an ape.

  • @slobomotion An ape? I never saw that ending on my DVD.

  • @Mandy3735 An ape-like serpent. My spouse at the time saw the movie with me in the cinema when it came out and said right away, "They are going to cut or alter THAT scene!" He was right. As he morphs into the big snake, he takes on a distinctly apelike shape which I think blacks might have found offensive, which is silly cuz it was a very gripping scene and totally correct for the actor's face and our imaginations. sigh They also ruined HALLOWEEN and TAXI DRIVER. And VIDEODROME.

  • @slobomotion You must be talking about the sequel, Conan the Destroyer. The wizard in that movie (not portrayed by James Earl Jones) turns into an ape thing and attacks Conan.

  • @Mandy3735 No, it was the first one. I adored the second one, however. Both are great movies. You get your full entertainment value outta these! This was the very end of Americans going to movie theatres, at least for me in NYC it was. Everyone started renting videos after that, and a movie was not often. The prices got very high, too. I took my French spouse to a drive in on Cape Cod and he was THRILLED! And a movie in NYC, then to Coney Island! He was ecstatic!

  • @slobomotion how can you confound the legendary John Milius' Conan and this silly movie from Fleitcher? The first is fantastic, the second represents what Holywood can do worse...

  • @haakon83 I was not too much into comics but Conan was one of the few which interested me. I saved them and gave them to a collector friend years later and he was thrilled!

  • i think thulsa doom means "mind" and not flesh

  • the two guys who stay near the boss seem too much part of a '80 metal band!!

  • too bad they dun have tenseiga wif them..... they could cut down those spirits....

  • Hate to say it, but at during the part where the wizard is wrighting the runes on him it sounds like he's trying to take a dump. love the movie though

  • It's Termi vs Darth Vader

  • 7:23 DAT AZZ

  • THE MAN OF STEEL AND STRONG AND POWERFUL.

  • raised the snake from birth? i wonder wat comical conundrums must have happened wen it reached 10 feet long............

  • "People have no grasp of what they do." Thulsa Doom speaks the truth on that one.

  • 2:37 It's a cameo by Whoopi Goldberg! ;D

  • @CaptainGoofysstash loooooooooooooooool ..then she did change of habits xD

  • The dude with the long black hair - his voice reminds me of the voice of Mufasa from the Lion King.

  • @wildwildwest1 You mean Thulsa Doom, right? The same actor playing him, James Earl Jones, also played Mufasa in The Lion King.

  • @Mandy3735 You mean *Voiced* Mufasa.

  • @wildwildwest1 It is him. He also voiced darth Vader :D

  • @wildwildwest1 He also plays Darth Vader in the original star wars

  • @cadelaide Only the voice. The body actor for star wars was David Prowse.

  • @wildwildwest1 darth vader's voice too, and CNN in the 80s

  • @wildwildwest1 He also did Darth Vader's voice.

  • I don't like how the bitch threatens our narrator...

  • this film is the dogs dangly bits............

  • @Steini224 Thats hilarious

  • arnie looks a lot like charlton heston here

  • @Steini224 lol

  • 06:20 Rofl

  • Brilliant villain speech by Thulsa Doom to start things off here, essentially telling Conan he ought to be grateful to him for killing everything the Cimmerian ever loved and thus providing him with motivation. Now THAT is a ballsy (and more than slightly delusional) bad guy. Love it.

  • I heard the cry of the Common Loon...where was this made...Canada?

  • It wouldn't be an Arnold movie without him suffering. What a cruel yet interesting piece of material here.thanks again.

  • @JRRDPR You're welcome again.

  • @JRRDPR Not to mention DARTH VADER (voice)

  • @OLDBOY444 My boss is stupid but just not THAT stupid!

  • In 6:33 is song basil poledouris - theology

  • It's not a song. It's entirely instrumental.

  • poor vulture, got bitten by conan bwahaha

  • as i say before this movie have everything

  • It doesn't have guns, aliens, existentialist allegory, or a side-plot about a young couple who find themselves in the post war idyl of rural England. Good thing too though eh? ;p

  • 4:34 arnie:shat ap shtupad berd

  • My favorite Arnieism:

"You know how I say I will kill you last? I lied!"
