  • Mekkora film!!!

    Örök klasszikus!!!

  • Keep your loving brother happy.

  • When I picked up harmonica playing and realised the riff in the song is played by breathing in and out on the same note... Made this movie even more awesome and I had to watch it again xD (Never realised it first, cause I was a kid when I watched this for the last time)

  • Claudia Cardinale... Wow !

  • When a scene like this gives you goose bumps, you know it's a badass film

  • SPOILER* this is epic epic grand wonderfull and majestic. I just wish the english language had words to accomodate it!

  • Best movie-scene of all times.

  • 1:15 - 1:20 Bronson's got Lion's eyes one second before killing his prey!

  • @leopoldvs The shape of his eyes are very special. He got the style.

  • his film was filmed in Spain

  • @mamonycabron Most parts of it, yes.

  • Why he left the girl? I think it's, because he chose the revenge. You try to forget bad things and let it go and if you success, you will probably get the good life and the girl. If you don't, you'll go and try to get your revenge, but it sure will change you as a person. You forget how to be a 'human'. Eventually the revenge will eat you at alive.

It's the same as in count of monte cristo. You just can't have your cake and eat it too!

  • Still the best closing scene in a film. Hurt my family I will find you. If Carlsberg did films this would the extra strong brew that would blow your socks of , guarantee you pull and don't have to meet theparents. What an epic.

  • Ez nagyon-nagyon jó, de miért nem egészben tetted fel?

  • I'm going to say it as well - Genius

  • I'm sorry but i gotta say genius

  • epic

  • i think this is best scan of this film.

  • starting from 1:34 - 2:58. combine with ennio morricone awesome music, it actually give me goosebumps. especially when close up to the Harmonica face.

  • Incredible cinema and soundtrack combination. Don't make em like this anymore.

  • For me best western ever! And amazing climax with fucking good music! :)

  • This music is insane.

  • great actors Claudia cardinal Charles bronson henry fonda Jason robards

  • great movie

  • One of my favorite actors. Remember this show. Thank you, for posting.

  • Charlie deja a Claudia porque era un hombre lleno de venganza... era como Sasuke Uchija...

  • Totally gay, i don't get it. Why turn down Claudia?

  • Why did Charlie have to leave so suddenly? He could have at least stayed for a cup of tea and biscuit to send him on his way.

  • Did he get oscar for this? Also the reason he did not take the girl is, he all along was there for another dark reason, REVENGE, when thats on human mind everything else is out.

  • My wife cried when Leonardo DiCrapio died in Titanic.

I'm a macho man but with this scene and the music I cried like a baby. Don't ask me why I just did.

  • U FEEL THIS SCENE! U ARE RIGHT THERE! (nothing else matters during this scene) Bronson+Ford=SUPERB! GENIOUS FILM MAKING!! CLASSIC FOREVER!!!

  • @fitoboi Don't yeh mean Bronson + Leone? Serio Leone directed this movie

  • Ennio Morricone is a genius

  • EPIC MOVIE !!!!!

    Greetings from Spain

  • Ennio Morricone owns it all

  • Charles Bronson was such a stud in this movie. Only thing is.. that girl was his for the taking and he should have took it. Damn what was he thinking ?

  • @LordZorak11 He thought "Will I make this a 21st century blockbuster where the hero eats the girl or leave it as one of the best movies ever made?"

  • @paulogomescoelho How did he know what 21st century blockbusters would look like?

  • @LordZorak11 Because he was a loner..He knew he couldn't be the man she wanted him to be...

  • @LordZorak11 He was stuck in his script of the lonesome hero. What a shame.

  • @LordZorak11 Something to do with death.

  • My absolutely favorite western movie!

  • aspect ratios :/

  • The best of the Best

  • He says: "You son of a bitch, yeah, you!"

  • Whats Pacquiao doing up there? :(

  • C'est pas mieux de nos jours....... helaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssss...

  • Most powerful scene like, ever.

  • @DieCupcake Dead Zone...last five minutes.

  • Epic.

  • about the way why you have edit the sound? you can hear the vilan breading with the harmonica when he is kill in the movie here not! just wonder

  • I don´t know why this weirdos put man with armonica with a message that means something about someone like puto2555 did. I have gone over alot of links to find this one! i ask why are people so dumb? thanks paulo you at least have put what i was looking for!

  • Once upon a time in the west. It's probably one of the best westerns around. World class performance by Charles bronson. Excelllent film. Watched it first with my dad when I was a kid. Everytime its on we'll still sit down and watch it.

  • i saw this filme when i was 7 and now i am 40

this scene is still in my mind

    as good as it gets

filming and music that brands you like a hot iron iron

  • one of the best film scenes ever.with the master behind the music ennio morricone

  • Una delle piu' belle scene del cinema. Grazie Sergio, Grazie Ennio. Orgoglioso di essere Italiano

  • Best movie in History.....made in the year....1968...

  • Best movie in History.....

  • It was an period of good films, of good actors, of beautiful wifes.

I saw last day Cowboys and Aliens... This is nothing in comparison with Once Upon A Time In the West.... CInema is dead !

  • @Metfiction

Cowboys and Aliens is a completely different film.

  • Claudia Cardinale is so beautiful ! <3

  • classic ......

  • henry fonda was one of the coolest men on this planet ,,fact

  • @scattyballs Even Chuck Norris agrees to that!!

  • Thanks for putting this beautiful video on here - it is a great movie - the longset opening sequence in movie history you know - remember the opening whne they are waiting at the station for the harmonica guy, and the guy with the funny bug eyes is in the rocking chair and the fly is buzzing around him and all you can hear is the buzz of the fly and the creak of the chair - sheer brilliance!!!

  • just amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The best movie ever, Italian ofcourse.

They know the violent truth of history, because of their maffia culture.

Americans, CIA and US militairy, are still like Henry Fonda.

  • The best western of all the times. The Western.

  • Henry Fonda is such a son of a bitch in this movie. Still, the role fits very well.

  • By the way, do you know anything about a man going around playing a harmonica? He's someone you'd remember. Instead of talking, he plays. And when he better play, he talks.

  • agreed Fonda played the role brilliantly, cold blue eyes of a killer. This is not a film, it's art topped by a fantastic line, "someday". Brilliant posting.

  • ah man.. got to love this..

@70CarStall First hand experience: this is possible playing on a Hohner Marine Band in G

  • How incredibly cruel people can be... how can you even think up something like this? I've seen the movie so many timens and everytime I bawl my eyes out at during this scene....

  • Six assh* had harmonicas shoved up their butts.

  • @70CarStall-you mean a Hohner?quite possible ,actually

  • I want this played when they put me in the ground.

  • The best 'against type' performance I've ever seen ... Henry Fonda.

  • what a very cruel yet great scene.

  • I couldnt tell, was that a German harmonica?

  • Besides Nino Rotta's "The Godfather", the greatest soundtrack of all times is the one composed by Ennio Morricone for "Once Upon A Time In The West". And Sergio Leone is a genius film director. He subverted Holywood stardarts: Henry Fonda, always the All-American hero was the heartless Frank; Charles Bronson, with his hard attire was always casted in America as a baddie - but for Sergio Leone he was the perfect anti-hero. So full or raage, revenge and thirsty for justice. BEST WESTERN EVER!

  • 4 people have NO taste in films or sooundtrack and flag red just to be "the different ones". Must be these Transformers' fans.

  • claudia cardinale is one of the most beautiful women i've ever seen

  • Is it just me or does the young harmonica look Asian?

  • Charles Bronson + Henry Fonda (as the bad guy) = cinematic genius. Thanks Sergio Leone.

  • the younger version of the boy is cute

  • Simply Amazing. I can feel this in my soul.

  • una obra maestra del gran sergio leone, soundtrack ni hablar fabuloso, legendario morricone!

  • this is an original clasic... GANSTER!!!!!

  • @Coquito585 start off with the best of the best, Fistfull of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, and The Good, Bad, and the Ugly. Obviously Once Upon a Time In the West is great, The Magnificent Seven is worth watching and finally I would suggest High Noon.

  • The only thing that I hate is because he kills him with one bullet. That man deserves more than one bullet.

  • @AvantguardX

Why let him die instantly? Gotta let him bleed out, let him know he fucked with the wrong kid.

  • Hey guys I'm starting to be interested in Western movies if ya can give me a list of best cowboy films ever made old or new I would really appreciate it

  • @Coquito585

Hey, "The Bravados" I guess is not really one of the best westerns ever made, but it was pretty good revenge flick with Gregory Peck and a young Lee Van Cleef.

  • MARCA Y MODELO DE ARMONICA ES?

  • I love the sequence but do the relative ages of actors/characters work out?

  • if you're looking for a classic cowboy movie, this is really the best one

this movie had everything. the showdown, the best music of all time it's just amazing

  • @Unthnar

If you die in the desert, on harmonica will play

  • nice music.

  • A világ legjobb western filmje,a világ legjobb színészeivel,a film legjobb jelenetéből!

  • @Fuge73 az...

  • Do you know anything about a guy going around playing the harmonica? He's someone you'd remember. Instead of talking, he plays. And when he better play, he talks :)))

  • who are you???? ................

  • Classic, beautiful scene. But, the aspect ratio plays all wrong on my PC. This looks like 16:9 anamorphic tagged incorrectly as 4:3, so it plays back squashed.

  • I've seen this scene so many times and it always makes me shiver. One of the best scene in cinema history.

Et Henry Fonda, il est trop beau!

  • :((

  • He never comes back...thats why its so beautiful and sad.

  • The best final scene ever for the Spaghetti Westerns.....

  • Why don't they make movies like this anymore? This is really what cinema should be.

  • most beautiful moment of cinema i have ever seen, brings tears to me

  • @spectre0075 Collect your bounty and go.

  • finally, with the actual footage!

  • mind you, has been squeezed chrome plates that cover the harmonica.

     does not matter. Greetings

  • Why is there always somebody who flags up clips like this as a 'dislike'? Is it the same person, going all over Youtube looking for classic films scenes just so they can mark them as 'dislike'? What the hell's his/her problem???

  • @Doinghisbest Thanks

  • @paulogomescoelho Some people are just immature and do not know great music when they hear it. This is a masterpiece.

  • @Doinghisbest maybe someone who doesn't like the quality of the video... not the content

  • @Doinghisbest Their problem is they have no taste my friend! Fuck em anyway, we all know this is classic Sergio/Ennio

  • @Doinghisbest I think in this case they are pissed off that they can't watch the entire movie.

  • @Doinghisbest They were lookin' for Porn!

  • @Doinghisbest it´s mental :-)

  • @Doinghisbest They're just retards.

  • @Doinghisbest People dont dislike this vid, they just miss the like button and accidentally press dislike becuase these two buttos are so close. It happened to me once too.

  • @Dice3000 The like button is clearly alot bigger than the dislike so I don't agree.

  • @Doinghisbest I think he didnt like the resolution.

  • the best western ever...period.

  • there is a very simple error in the sequence of hook and the guy with the harmonica ... a perfect harmonic out the pocket .. . then the boy is crushed in the mouth, and then, curiously, in the next scene returns to have an impeccable harmonica ... I do not understand and do not care details

  • @Carpanta88 In this scene?

  • @NeverAloneForever

yes. at this stage give the guy a perfect harmonious to his mouth. then show him with a harmonica and then crushed, and have it again with a harmonica that is in good condition. It's just looking at the details. Thanks Ricardo

  • @Carpanta88 Doesn't look broken though. It does fall out before he hits the ground. Though his mouth would still be affected. Ah, well.

  • Henry Fonda.

  • Got this film. The music is brilliant. I love it.

  • This is so epic!

  • possibly one of the best italian westerns around.

  • bellisssimo

  • paura e panico.... bellisssimo!!!

  • i get cold rills along my back great music

  • wow wonderfull movi1!!!
