@jdwalker9295 make sure you have your rca's plugged into the righ outputs from your headunit as some headunits have an extra subwoofer output from your radio this could be the problem. I know you prob. already know this but make sure your gain is atleast a quarter the way up to satart off and the filter selection switch is on lpf.

HEY DAWG i have 2 12inch kicker l7 solos and i got a ssl 4000 watt amp with a 20 farad capacitor well when i hook my subs up and try to play EM they want hit so i replaced alll my fuses and it stilll did not work ive checked over every thing a millon times and made sure i had it hooked up right and everything and my amp power light is coming on and the subs were fresh outta the box please help me figur somethin out

I know he will read all these messages and feel so moved by people's kindness. - As for your Q - I would wait until you can buy all ring terminals - But if you can't, that will work fine, just TIGHTEN your connections extra carefully as to make sure those spades won't come loose.
