It is not a mainstream language in India even tho its Indian language.I am a worshiper of Hare Krsna, and so this show means alot to me, but if you want some sanscrit first hand get a book called "The Bagahvad Gita as it is" by Swami Srilla Pradupada. It is complete with actual sanscrit text,English phonetic transcript and Sanscrit to English translation,with puports by Swami Srilla Pradupada. Hare krsna!

I'm sure I'll love to read "Mahabharata" and "Ramayana" as much as I do reading the ancient Greek myths and the Arabian Nights. But watching them in Indian made serial will be like killing the whole merit of their greatness.
