  • My high commissioned this. We just comisioned a saucedo piece. Look up ostinato longmont high school. That one was fun

  • saxes rule

  • We played this two years ago and I still remember how to play [flute] parts of it! Ticheli is for sure one of my FAVORITE composers!!

  • love the song! thanks for posting it!

  • amazing peice :D i love the constant change of moods- kinda like it has ADD. this song is so much fun to play (TRoMBONE FOR THE WIN)

  • @SaturdayNight4112 I so agree!! 3rd part is boring!!

  • @Scene141 3rd Part is the Root of the chord though and is probably one of the most important parts to play.

  • I really enjoy Ticheli as a composer. His music is fun, exciting, and has a variety of sounds.

  • It's amazing that our 7th and 8th Symphonic band's playing this. We started with Crusade (sightread it practically), then Joy (which we aced at UIL), then after we made our teacher literally cry tears of Joy, she got us this.

  • i played this a long time ago in middle school

  • my high school might play this song.

  • Javer@ what is your school

  • THIS SONG!!

We played it for marching season my freshman year, second best song of the show that I liked to play. Got to say this song is absolutely amazing - though the concert one sounds much better [and delicate] than the marching one. x) heh. Mr. Ticheli, I tip my hat to you for being such a great composer!

  • im in 7th grade in my schools top band and we played this for uil and got straight ones on everything no 2s even on sightreading

  • This piece is awesome! I'm in the top band at my school (8th grade btw) and we are playing this piece for UIL this year and it's absolutely great! :D

It's A LOT more fun than Joy.

  • I played Joy at a summer band camp between 6th and 7th grade, and I'm playing Joy Revisited this year. My junior year. It's a fun piece, but too simple for a high school band to be playing.

  • i am in 6th grade and i played joy for the winter concert, and i just got joy revisited to learn for the spring concert.

  • Playing this song right now in band

  • @Smoojulia me too

  • love the song but i dont really see how it has anything to do with child birth. my fellow band mates thought there should be some sort of epic part for the actual birth, but to me this song seems to portray a cartoon version where the stork drops the baby in some crazy way that it goes through a strange journey to end up on its parent's doorstep. thats just my thoughts

  • @greenshayla18 When I think of this song I think of the child's christmas for some reason.

  • @samthemusicman1 me too!

  • my band is playing that for honors and were bearly in middle school

  • wow. this is WAY better than Joy. lmao. Hannah got the short end of the stick (i hope some of you understood that reference)

  • ive played this before, loved it

  • My band's playing this @ our UIL competition. :D

  • Hehe, my band hated playing this song back in the day. Often, people in my section would wonder why anyone would "revisit" this song. XD I find it funny. I think the song is cute.

  • @dudeness0001 i had a similar experiance. i lived in florida last year, i now live in Indiana, last year in Florida we played this song in the band, and apparently they played the same song in the band im in now in Indiana at the same concert (spring concert)...its a small world

  • @dudeness0001 I play the Baritone saxophone in my band I am in 7th grade and we are playing this piecev for contest

  • I'm playing the regular joy 2 night for a concert with all three major bands!! its gonna be kewl

  • @mrrepublican1021 , oh as if conservatives are any better in morals or governement.........and what are you refering to? my liberal stature or that i played joy in a concert??

  • Why does it even matter? Can you just not spam someone based upon their screen name and enjoy the music? Or do you have to do this because you lack the intelligence to actually enjoy anything but flaming people on YouTube?

  • yes this song is amazing, i also played the regular version for honor band. it was an amazing experience.

  • This song is so cool! I played the regular joy version last year! I still have it memorized:)
