i think linking sports with combat takes away from the real combat and sacrifice true warriors make. This romanticizes war and takes away from the true nature of combat and soldiers. You're a football player, not a soldier.

@randeDANDE There's fat fucks in all branches even Marines.. they just catch the most shit for it. Navy doesn't PT as a unit like the Army and Marines because they have work to do. No other service has the massive pieces of equipment that require as much man hours to upkeep.

I watched a bunch of guys go through leatherneck in Quantico wrecking house at everything including PT and ground fighting enlisted Marines with little training and end up going Navy surface warfare or aviation. Just show some respect especially on a civilian channel like this.
