Queensland has narrow guage, except for the standard guage line from sydney into South East Queensland Terminating in Brisbane. South Australia chose Narrow guage, except that it's capitol Adelaide has both Standard and Broad guage links to Melbourne and a standard guage link to Sydney, Darwin and Perth. Western Australia chose narrow guage, except for the Standard guage link to SA!
