Penso che la storia dei Templari e delle Crociate siano state volutamente ribaltate per manovrare l'opinione pubblica su quanto fece la Chiesa Cattolica per difendere la cristianita' dall'avanzata mussulmana in occidente facendo credere che furono missioni offensive e/o di conquista coloniale. In realta' furno missioni alla difesa del cristianesimo sia a Gerulasemme che in Europa. Se oggi siamo cristiani e' proprio grazie a loro.

LA crociata non deriva da un unico fattore ma dalla molteplicità di circostanze che in quel preciso momento si sono venute a creare. A oriente Alessio Comneno, essendo incalzato dagli arabi si chiese aiuto ai crociati per sbarazzarsi dei nemici e ottenere nuovi possedimenti. In europa invece si assite a una grande situazione di caos in cui i secondi geniti non avendo diritto ad alcuna eredità si davano alla più sfrenata opera di saccheggio -->

Io mi dissocio dal considerarlo "bastardo maiale " poichè non lo conosco come persona. Dal punto di vista bibliografico trovo che i suoi libri (secondo il sottoscritto ovviamente) facciano pena perchè distorgono la Storia al fine di dare in pasto alla gente, che si accontenta delle superficialità, grandi perle di verità.
Tuttavia la mia critica va a chi crede che i suoi romanzi siano fonte di verità e pretendono poi, dopo averli letti di avere verità assolute sulla storia....il che non è cosi.

Va invece fatto notareche i templari sono un ordine monastico-militare nato dopo la I crociata poichè i crociatierano tornati in Europa poichè avevano espiato le loro colpe=> Gerusalmemme aveva bisogno di gente affidabile che la difendesse.
