Hampture will not be complete until it is a self-sustaining underwater ecosystem large enough for a stable breeding population of objectivist uberhampsters.
Yup. I tried corn litter first to see if him eating it would be a problem. He showed no interest so I moved on to a dust-free traditional litter. It had the added benefit of reducing humidity.
@anonbutt Your video was on Reddit.com Nice to know you remove comments, even rational explanations that are not contrary to anything you state in the vid description. I did not read that you were pumping air in...sorry. But unless a poster says something like "go fuck your mother" should you remove their comment...unless you're insecure or something. Other than that. interesting experiment and video.
Hmm, I'm guessing the pressure inside the enclosure isn't that high to the point of being uncomfortable to the hamster judging by the way Mega-Fucker is chilling. Great job :D
What is the point of this?

Finally a place where a hamster is entitled to the sweat of his own brown.
The Hampture, a place were strong industrialist hamsters are no longer "hampered" by their entitlement seeking ex compatriots.

I am Hamster Ryan and I'm here to ask you a question.
Is a hamster not entitled to the corms of his cheek?
No. Says the hamster in Washington. It belongs to the poor
No. Says the hamster in the Vatican. It belongs to God
No. Says the hamster in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.
I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose the impossible. I chose Hampture

I love the idea of this, reminds me of an article I read years ago about proposed underwater quarters. Looks like hamsters beat us this time.

1. To the right you can see the edge of a battery powered heating pad. The hamster can regulate his own temperature by varying his distance from it.
2. By bringing the habitat up to the surface every so often.
3. It's a Scuba drybox rated for 100 feet. It will not break under 4 feet of water.
4. The Mk. III habitat contains an exercise wheel.
5. Hamsters are burrowers in the wild. They are accustomed to and comfortable in dimly lit chambers.

Your not going to hurt the hamster right?

Also, where's the miniature copy of Atlas Shrugged?
How will he learn of social objectivism if he doesn't have the book!?

Looks like Mega-Fucker is having a great time.
His dormitories does seem a bit small. We need more MONIES for more expansion/

"Holy shit, there's a fish!" That was hilarious! Next step~ a bigger enclosure with 2 or 3 volunteers & a wheel for them to run in!

How do you clean the litter? Do you have to take it out of the water every time?

By the time you take that hamster out of the water, he will be shooting fire and bees out of his hands at you

Yup. there's an air return hose so pressure couldn't build up to dangerous levels even if the pump were that strong.

This is amazing. You should make a huge container capable of housing 2-4 hamsters, and see how they coexist.
