  • Even five years later this documentary is so over whelming and inspiring at the same time. The media portrayed one side of New Orleans ppl I.E. the looters, and the ppl committing crimes but this doc shows the heart of at least 4 amazing New Orleans survivors Brian Sims, Kimberly RiversRoberts, Scott Roberts, and Brian Nobles I mean it truly takes a special person to be able to put others before theirselves in the face of tragedy and desperation. I admire these people.

  • I watched the entire documentary.... Its two people who walking around New Orleans doing NOTHING, except complaining, whining, and expecting everyone to come do things for them. Nothing is ever good enough for them...there's not enough FREE stuff being given to them, there's not enough people coming to give them what they want; its nothing but the ugly truth about dependence on government, and what happens when that addiction is cut off.

  • @navyavi469 What movie were you watching? I too watched the entire documentary, the opinion you took away from viewing the movie is SAD! This movie is way more than what you say, this movie is inspiring, moving, true, and beautiful. This movie is more than just about two people, its about a HUSBAND AND A WIFE who stuck together through a horrible hurricane, not only did they help themselves, they helped their NEIGHBORS, 25+ PEOPLE they helped get food and shelter, the GOVERNMENT did nothing!

  • @navyavi469 the documentary was about surviving in the face of disaster and joining together as a community to help one another. They weren't walking around doing nothing. I remember them walking around to find who was still alive. Kim was far from whining. She held it together and helped her family and neighbors survive. As for dependence on government, shouldn't we expect some help in the face of something like this? Just to help keep survivors alive?

  • Buzzard you must be a heartless person. Just because someone is doing something they arent suppose to be doing, it means they dont deserve help? And we are suppose to just let them suffer/die? Get a heart dumbass

  • You Old Buzzard, Ignorant and Dumb
