The birth certificate doesn't matter.....what matters is that when Obama was 8 years old, he was moved to Indonesia and enrolled in school. Indonesian law requires that any non-Indonesian students must renounce any other country's citizenship, which Obama did. When he moved back to Hawaii, he then became a naturalized US citizen, which by the US Constitution makes him ineligible to be President of the United States.

You cannot strip a person of US citizenship because he lived in another country for a few years as a child. You have to renounce US citizenship as an ADULT in order to lose. So what if his stepfather lied on the school application. Maybe he didn't want the hassle. Or maybe birthers are making that rule up out of thin air like the one about not being able to travel to Pakistan on an US passport in 1980.

But take a look at the state department regulations again. Your father was a US Citizen, so you are a US citizen, unless something about five years and... I don't remember.
