Loki does this when I get his leash from the drawer. And then after we've wrestled so I can get it on him, he still sounds like it until we're out the garden ;_;
lo when my baby just hears his chain-lead tinkling he3 knows it means one thing, and thats a walk.then, he screams and cries like mad...still love him
@Thebeautiful11 just wait a little- they have to get attached to you before you can get any reaction from them. that's especially true for huskies. i got my husky at 3 months old and she was so indifferent to us for the first 2 months we thought she's just that type of dog-really independent, and that she'd be like that forever - SO not true now she's a real sweetheart (she's a year and a month old)
oh my gosh..that's JUST like my dog chloe...(she looks like this dog too) I'm embarrassed when it's walk time as it sounds like I'm killing her..and she always seems to know we are going on a "specialness" before I can get fully dressed and get my shoes on....it's total chaos
There's nothing wrong with this behavior. Anyone who pays enough attention will realize that this is just plain excitement over a favorite toy. This breed of dog is insanely vocal.
Yep, when you "agree" to the dog´s orders, in this case barking, pushing howling, your dog is the one "in command", and you should be the dominant, at least with my 2 huskies it works that way, they always expect their walk at certain time, but never push me to do stuff. Well,
but doesnt the owner has to show dominance when they start to act like this? that its not their call when to walk them or have their tummy rubbed? otherwise, they think that when you dont discipline them when they do this, they would just do it over and over again. can you please enlighten me on this?
actually, the dog letting her know that it has to go to the bathroom is not bad, but if the dog were wanting to go outside and play, then she should worry about dominance plays. When they demand attention for something other than their personal needs ie. food and potty, then it becomes problematic. I train service animals, and one of our policies is to teach a dog to attract the owners attention (usually not by barking) and get them over to the door. Its better than having them go on the floor.
Give me the damn squeaky !!!!!!!
