Actually, my mother is a red hat queen and they host fundraisers all the time. All the money her group makes goes to the Dallas Autism Foundation. My son is autistic and I am very grateful for their support. So yes, they are very productive.

the red hat ladies are more than bizarre, I hope that that is not what I resort to to have 'fun' older age...is there anything productive these women can do ???about as wierd as the neil diamond groups....good god
