Such beautiful memories I have ;_; I played this game when I was younger xD it's hard to believe that games were like this once :) but where they lacked graphics or whatever, they were abundant in history and game size, (as nowadays games seem like game patches or whatever).

This game is so good, i am re-installing, i played it when i was about 6 or 7 and i LOVED it, really cool story i have to agree with you on every point, This game is one of the most beautiful games ive played, I really think It will go on being remembered as one of the best games ever imo.

you may need to put on compatibility mode and have a w2k patch for it or otherwise all you will see is blurs..try several torrent sites..

I'm afraid you do, I had plenty of trouble with that part, took several days of rummaging through the possibilities before I worked out that it disappears if you have the pearl at that point. So get rid of the pearl or use it to get lightning next time, if you save regularly it'll be okay.

If you don't have the pearl at that point... can't help you!

I played this game as a child! The total lack of logic in this game drove me crazy!! the music, the odd characters and the overall weird story freaked me out and I almost never dared beat the giant rat thing at the start of the game. Mostly I get through the game by exploiting glitches and there are a hell lot of them! :DD

I used FRAPS, it caused some issues and wouldn't work at all on a better PC, but at least it allowed me to drive the car for some reason as before it was impossible to turn, good outweighs the bad though.

The only way I found to do it was by actually recording while I was playing. If you're already doing that then I'm not sure what else to do. It could be something to do with processing speed (as if I know what I'm talking about), so something that keeps your computer busy in the background might be what's needed. Hope that's some help.

btw I'm stuck on the island of the slate. I think it may be a glitch though :(

I seem to have a problem with the car as well. I can't turn left or right while I am driving straight ahead. The only thing that works, is to turn backwards(whatever way I need to), and then drive on a straight line - and then repeat. I'm playing LBA2 With a dos emulator, so I don't know if recording while playing will work.

To help dinofly you need:

-to stop the storm

-to have the healy horn

and each of those requires a bunch of things that you should have done by now.

after the past few years ive played LBA2 probably more than 10 times up to this point without finding a way to get past...

everytime i get back to the spacecraft launching place, i can never get the orange itinerary disk...

no walkthrough or even this video has helped...

can any1 please lend a hand... :S

The itinerary disk disappears only if you have the pearl in your inventory at the time you get there as far as I know (that's actually the only reason I got the lightning in the previous segment). Have you gotten the pearl or any other items you shouldn't have at that point? Otherwise it's more buggy than I thought...

Aaw, man! Just read your comments on the run. I remember I had the pearl at this point in the game (managed to get past the spikes after many tries), and got stuck on that prison because of the missing orange wheel, now I understand what hapenned :(

I almost gave up on the game, had to start over without even knowing I had done anything wrong :P despite this, it's an awesome game that brings back great memories (I should play it again), and you did a great speedrun :)
