  • So I've been watching your lets play videos for a little while now and I have a couple questions. If lets say hypothetically you fight a battle and lose and all your men die how do you recruit more if you've already taken all the volunteers from the villages? Additionally if you die is that game over or back to last save?

  • @mvendi86 I never re-load in this let's play even if things go badly. Player character never dies in M&B, just gets knocked out (and caught as prisoner if losing the whole battle, losing all men). As for recruiting, the village recruits "reset" after 1-2 weeks in-game.

  • @TheZemalf Thank you for your quick replys on both my comments, at this point I will definitely give this game a try. Also I find your commentary to be very insightful I will have to check out some of your other LP's in the future.

  • Thanks heaps this will change my

Battles heap instead of just charge

  • Ok two things I want to ask

    1. Where are you from because i can't pick your accent

    2. How do you get the thing so you can choose for example when you want your infantry on a hill or if you want Ymira to stay back u do something, way do you press or hold

P.s love the vids great character

  • @Sameinator I'm from Finland...

And for the commands, I use either "Infantry, hold this position", which is '1' for infantry, and F1 (movement commands) + F1 (double click F1) for hold. Or I can hold F1 key to get a flag to mouse cursor and releasing F1 somewhere is like "hold *that* position".

For Ymira, or other medic, I create 'Support' group which I can order around like infantry/archers/cavalry.

  • ik im waaaaaayyy late on the comment but im curios on you thought process with giving ymira so many 1 handed weapons and yourself a one and two handed weapon but not putting the 2 handed weapon in your inventory for grounded melees and using a sheild... this is also as far as ive gotten in your videos so im sorry if u explain or change later in the series, lovin the vids btw keep em comin broski :p

  • @KornLover111 At the start I probably left Ymira with the weapons she had = several 1 handed weapons. Later she'll probably have 1-hander, a shield and a ranged weapons - it' been a while so I don't remember :)

As for Violet, the bow was her main weapon, so anything else I might've given to her at this point was only a backup, with 1-hander and shield being the main option (more for defense)

  • I know how to spend my holiday... Catching up on your awesome videos! +1 subscriber!!

  • @TheRadioHeaded Thanks, I'm happy you're liking the vids :)

  • @TheZemalf LOVE your videos!!! 1+ sub

  • @MrSandi99 Thanks, I'm happy you're enjoying the vids! :)

  • You should give ymeria a crossbow or a polearm so she can have more reach on her attack.

  • @JamesR3d I will probably do that at some point. As Ymira is mainly medic/support, I don't want her to get close to foes if possible, so crossbow is good (the ones that can be loaded and fired on horseback). But at this point, I'm just giving her and others what I find :)
