McAmmond should of been looking instead of watching his pass. You'd think somebody who played in the league as long as he has would know not to watch his pass, especially when you're coming around the net like that. And poor "tiny" Jason Blake shouldn't of been running his mouth in the media saying that Downie should be kicked out of the NHL. WTF? He should of expected something from Downie and he's just lucky the linesmen were between them or else it would've been a lot worse.

Either way it's joke that Downie even got suspended for his hit on McAmmond. Ever hear of Jordin Tootoo? Pulls the exact same thing but nobody cares cuz he's not a Flyer.

Nope. The pass is about 2 seconds before the hit. I don't know why you think McAmmond is so slow that it would take him 5 seconds to get around the net. Count the 5 seconds out buddy. If it took McAmmond 5 seconds to get around the net he shouldn't be playing hockey anywhere. Fact....motherfucker.

To compare this to the Bertuzzi incident is ludacris. These two men were locked into battle. So Downie popped him and his eye got swollen that play has happened a million times over through out the seasons.

Well hate to break it to you newbies but hockey used to be a lot meaner only back then the combatants were refered to as warriors. I'm glad all these leafs fans are all caught up on this punch, when if they included the 15 seconds prior they would have shown blake throwing the first punch. AMAZING how much that changes things. The basic lesson is, don't mess with Steve "The Bull Dozer" Downie. Get over the fact that the Leafs can't win a championship due to completly sucking and stop blaming the flyers for all the leagues woes.

Unfortunately for Downie, this may be his last season in the NHL. He may end up like Steve Moore. He's only a man, he's not made of steel. Someone will get him. Look at all the support that Todd Bertuzzi has received, and continues to receive, and Steve Moore on the other hand.... no support, or hardly any at all.
