I love Motley and Nikki is a hero... but let's size it up: how much good music has been churned out from his sobriety?
Dr. Feelgood rocked, but other than that every sober effort sucks. SOLA was a flop, the new material on R,W&C sucks, new shit on Decade of Decadence sucks.
Now, 2FAST was a raw punk record, SATD was AWESOME, ToP was OK but they went too poppy, GGG was AWESOME, MC94 was awesome (he was back on the coke), GS was OK, NT was underrated.

Yeah It does sound like he's thinking every word. And it probably does have a lot do do with the amount of books he reads, I would expect it would make him a lot more literate. On another note OMG DON'T say he was cooler on drugs!! I mean.. I know what you mean.. I have felt that way too.. But after reading his book he's so much happier now. And if he stayed on drugs 'to be cool' he would now be dead.
Nikki Sixx is the coolest person on the planet and he is the most immportant person of motley crue he writes all the songs! but the days motley crue ruled the world are past dont get me wrong i am big fan of motley crue but the crue in the 80s. However its nice that they are still around playng and touring and even making new albums.
