As most people were, I was devistated to hear of Rob's passing, and now I've only just found this tape. Everything about it was amazing and made me bawl the whole way through. Thank you for posting it!

i was going to see the phantom last year except we never got around to it. instead i saw wicked for a seccond time in melbourne this year (i also saw it earlier this ear when i went to london).

I would have loved to have seen rob

It's amazing! Alexia Khadime was Elphaba there at the time and Dianne Pilkington was Glinda. They were awesome! i cant decide between them and Amanda and Lucy.

I do wish I could of stayed to see Kerry Ellis.

I live in Chicago (where Wicked is sadly leaving) and I still didnt get to see her with she came to New York.

She is such a lovely girl! I met her for about a minute, and even though she seemed really tired, she was willing to sign my poster. I'm so happy for her that she got to spend all that amazing quality time with Rob. :)

Lucy just got me 2 tickets to see the show in about 4 weeks and I can't wait, but at the same time I know its not going to be the same without Rob.

I'm looking forward to seeing lucy and passing on many hugs from her family and friends.

She has learnt so much from Rob which is evident in her speach.

I was lucky to have seen Rob in his signiture roll as THE PHANTOM!!!!

For that I will always be greatfull

How wonderful is Lucy, it was a lovely warm hearted speech, she's is so natural. Its so good to hear these little snippets of his life that we normally wouldn't hear about. Lucy did so well and I'm sure Rob was looking down at his young cast with pride. It still doesn't seem real to me and have to really thankyou again Megan for sharing the memorial with his fans.

Lovely speech. That must be really tuff when a friend dies. The Australian woman that was murdered in Bali this year was in my year at highschool (I had a crush on her in year 6), and even though I wasn't a friend it grieves me to think of her death.

Lucy is the queen of composed. I love that she emphasised Rob as he was in life, and alive, and she was so simply frank about him: he was larger than life, and then again, he wasn't. I was looking for the words and Lucy found them! He made people feel safe and comfortable. It's so ordinary, but considering he was a star I couldn't have been more stunned or more honoured to have met him.

That was a very beautiful speech. :) I imagine it must be very hard to read tribute speeches like that. If I were to ever read out a tribute to someone, I would probably be bawling my eyes out out of grief. She spoke it beautifully, though.

It is surprising what you can do for someone you have really truly loved. I swore i would never speak at a funeral and ended up speaking at my first friend in the world's funeral. xxxxx
