Hey, thanks for the demo. Few questions:

1) What kind of cable are you using to connect to your camera?

2) What kind of camera are you using?

I bought that mic to hook up to my HMC150 via a 1/8" -- XLR cable, and the audio is so quiet that it is unusable. Any tips on what I might be doing wrong?

Sir, that was awesome! You're doing a great service to someone who's shopping hard for an affordable Mic. got a cheap Azden ( 130 bucks ) Don't like it so much. But it looks like the more expensive units are made better, and sound a lot better! Thanks again for the Demo

I've been as far as 25 feet. I know it will go farther too.

Yes you can adjust the volume. You just have to open the cover and inside each unit has a small screw driver. The transmitter has a Mic Level control to adjust the audio output. The other controls are frequency changes and the receiver has a volume control to adjust the output volume for headphones. Hope this helps. So far, I am happy with my purchase.
