I recognize the volcano of Fogo island, I climbed it.

A story tells that a french was banished in 1830, came on this island and had 200 children here with people escaped from slavery. Now there're more than 20000 person named Montrond from Fogo. It's a story...so the real numbers are probably different.

West of Cabo Verde has very strange landscapes: huge and lost in ocean. Fogo, Santo Antao.
