They played this on radio2 this week, and I had forgotten what a lovely song this is, reminds me so much of when my boys were growing up. Thanks for posting this, I knew if I looked on Youtube, I would find it. I have played it over and over since then. Look up L S Lowry on google. Wikipedia shows a great insight into this shy man's life. Thanks again.

I had a Nostalgia day today listening to this.

I confess that i wish i was back at the time this was released. Simpler times and simpler people. I remember those dyas with fondness not regret.

Just moved to England from Canada and once heard this song when I was 14...I'm now 30 and still love this beautiful song. I've only ever had the pleasure of seeing one of Lowry's paintings but I hope I'm around long enough to see most...if not all. Nothing but Love here. So satisfying. Thank You
