Actually, it starts off as the main battle theme, then it slows down and ties into the boss theme...man I miss this game....

Easily the greatest installment in the Dragon Quest series. It is a little slow-paced, but when one arrives at the Dharma Temple, oh do things get awesome.

to those curious--the actual Boss Theme-part starts at 2:18.50 or thereabouts. It's a great orchestral mix...but I dunno some part of me still prefers the original cheese-instruments.

It's the regular battle theme AND the boss song, and then back to the regular battle.

This is the orchestral version and has the original battle theme and boss theme.

Yep. Even better in fact. The boss theme is too repetitive, but it's DARK, giving the right intimidating atmosphere that Dragon Quest IV revolutionized. Battle for the Glory is the darkest, most catchy generic battle theme.

In the cave before you fight Estark on the DS remix in 32-bit I almost got the freaking chills.

I was like "This is it, the climax, but I still have to do something about Psaro, don't I? I'm almost done with the game."

Sadly predictable, yes, but really awesome.

Loads of people are saying Giygas's Theme from Mother 2 (EarthBound) is the one for Giygas and their just lying to themselves because his real boss theme for his massive long phases and 9 prayer string (I heard he changes like every 2 prayers, so there's 4 forms and tracks) is super creepy as well as how he looks and moves and even talks...

Giygas is a total mystery for the most part and super scary. The biggest fear of the unknown and paranoia.

Freaking Subliminal Messaging and Hypnotism for Americans that didn't get the first game... Because some Americans really are evil and twisted and contradicts itself allowing for change but America tries so hard to be selfish and stubborn as best as it can by denying it's flaws.

So what is this supposed to be? One of the final battles? Because the battle theme isn't in it for the normal one, I swear, and I never heard the transition.

By the way, the transition for Pokey Means Buisness is a 8-bit to 16-bit screamer with dark, demonic metal sounding music for a twisted preteen kid.

The Mother series is K-A and need to be at least 10+ like Kingdom Hearts for Square Soft.
