OMFG!!! you really know NOTHING about guns do you? You just proved my point. Smg's fire pistol rounds, or modified pistol rounds in most cases. That includes 9mm, 45 cal., etc. Meanwhile assault rifles fire rifle rounds like 5.56 (ak47 and 74u), 22LR, .308 and so on.

@jaybeebee14 u r right. but the m16 or ar-15 is 5.56x45mm. ak-47 is 7.62x39mm. the aks-74u is 5.45x39mm. sub machine guns, yeah they r mostly pistol ammo or modified rifle rounds necked down to fit in the smaller receiver like the p 90 is 5.7x28mm.

@ the saiga and the DAO are semi auto btw. i never had problems to kill enemies equipped with those guns in bfbc2. the only weapon in bfbc2 that pisses me off sometimes is the freaking VSS. fully auto guns don't belong in bushwookies hands!
