@mangoman164 he wasn't really unathletic. if you remember early on in his career he was a scrambling quarterback. you're right he did have knee problems but the main drawback for nfl teams other than being injury prone was his age.
@K2theron Jason White was not drafted in the 2005 NFL draft. He didn't even get a tryout for several weeks. The chiefs gave him a shot and didn't sign him. The Titan's gave him a free agent contract, and shortly afterward during his first few days in training camp he decided to retire due to injury concerns(mostly his knees).
i was such a big Jason White fan. I thought he was an amazing QB. Too bad he had bad knees but it helped him in a way because he had to be more accurate and efficient with his throws. He would have been really good if it wasnt for his knees.
Sooner arrogance was disgusting. the way they pranced off the bus as if they were about to play a high school team. so disgraceful how they completely gave up before half time.
Travis Wilson epitomizes what's wrong with Sooner football. Self-absorbed, self-centered, arrogant, never performing up to expectations.
Check this quote from a delusional KU fan I found. Funny as hell. They win one bowl game in 40 years and they're already the kings of college football.
"OU and Texas both suck! It really doesn't matter we didn't play them. It's not like it would have upped our sos. Don't cry that, once again, your spotlight is now in the shadow of KU. Be grateful that KU had one bad game all year."
He would have been good if he had been drafted.not like alex smith or matt lienart who just blow it in NFL I mean like Ben Roethlisberger who led the steelers to 15-1(it would have been 16-0 if he justed started at the beginning)and led the Steelers to the Super Bowl next season.wtf haooened this season.Still love OU=D
huskerfan, how retarded can you be? OU just destroyed Nebraska for the Big 12 championship just weeks before that Boise game. What used to be a respected rivalry between OU and NU is now a joke (OU owns NU).
Yeah if Jason never hurt his knees he would have been unstoppable in college and he would have been a top NFL pick. But since he hurt his knees he is very immobile and they hurt him and he cant use his legs to generate more power behind his passes
It really pisses me off when people say Jason didnt deserve the heisman, he put up better numbers than leinart every year and you dont think he didnt deserve it.
Shame this guy didn't play in the NFL. Best college QB i've ever seen

J. White/Clayton combination burned a lot of defenses. Best of all, they scorched Texas :)

It helps when you're throwing to four future NFL WR's. Anyone notice how quiet it was? I could hear Jason calling the snaps. Boomer Sooner.
