Dude, I've been wanting to make a new how to scream video for a while, but I've been so caught up with work and everything, and not having a place to scream, it wouldn't work out. A lot of people have been asking me, i will make one eventually, but until i find a place to record, all i can say is practice screaming to whoever you want to sound like, and you'll end up developing your own style. If your throat starts hurting, just remember to take a break and drink lots of water.

That's not what I meant, but all I do is use a vocal setting in Logic pro, not really editing. What i meant was that it's live straight through, no stops or anything.

@evil666maiden No one uses inhale dude, especially not in the studio. and except for a few people who want to trick the audience live and not fuck their voice. Its a myth that spawned from too many scene kids not realizing screaming is pretty loud, and not practiceable in their bedroom. so they deduced that therefore the art of screaming could be done quietly, and the myth of inhale screams being a viable technique was born.

I do not know of many screamers who inhale. Exhaling is by far the best for getting the most power out of screaming. I use False Chord by the way, it's a way of exhale screaming. I plan on making a new screaming tutorial soon! I've just been so busy lately with work and my band haha

@doompod no u do, and its not gay or anything, its the most used (melissa cross taught Tim Lambesis How to scream, and those who take classes with her all use the same screamed, its the least damaging to the vocal chords, and ur using it....the only one who uses false chord is the vocalist from God Forbid and he rarely uses it...btw when using false chord, it is impossible to pitch a scream, meaning no high or low pitched screams.

Yeah haha I've changed my vocal styles a lot recently, from Bodom to Trivium, and now AILD for my band Apparition. I'm really comfortable with AILD style screaming, I get A LOT less headaches haha And thanks! \m/

When you start out, you always are trying to sing the song perfectly, after practicing different styles, it all comes together. Matt Heafy of Trivium goes for James Hatfield of Metallica, but does it fit the music and does he mix in other styles as well? Yes, and Trivium is one of the most popular bands around.

For this one and my cover of "The Blinding Of False Light", I did the audio and video at the same time. But for covers that might take more than one shot, I usually record the audio and video separately. Like my new Parallels cover, the audio and video were recorded separately..
