@PetersTrainz101 There are two cords on the 745 that the Engineer can pull. Since the engineer has the Throttle in a hold pistition he is able to blow both whistle at the same time.
@speediracer4 Really we put that whistle in to have a higher tone on the Locomotive. We have a SP whistle on there as well. Don't matter if it is made from china. Each engineer has an choice of whistle.
Sounds like thats entirely to much fun with SP745 :) , kinda like a rolling whistle show! I would have gave anything to be there that day or better yet to be in the cab with them. Thanks for posting!
We used to LOVE to sit on the pylons just underneath the track in the middle of the bridge, drink a few beers and watch the river roll by. This bridge is very dear to my heart. What a WONDERFUL video of it being crossed by such a BEAUTIFUL engine! Thanks for posting!
That bridge is nearly 120 years old and still in use. I was delivering a load of stone to the railroad tracks east of town that day when the train went by. Impressive.
How is it blowing two whistles?

Get rid of that shitty chinese sounding whistle and let the AMERICAN MADE SP whistle loose!

The repeated whistling as the engine was crossing the bridge was because a TV cameraman had his camera set up between the rails.
